Bought two of these lamps for my backyard patio 4 months ago and have been impressed with them! The lamp is very sturdy with a thick brown metal pole on a weighed base. The lamp shade is just like a quality living room lamp one would buy. We've had strong winds in our area than knocked the lamps on their sides TWICE. This happened because the winds picked up the lamp shades and caused the fall. The amazing thing is that the lamps were still lighted when I found them laying on the ground! The only damage was that the plastic screw holding down the lamp shade onto the pole broke in two. That was repaired in 20 seconds with super glue! Yes, this means that not even the LED light bulbs broke. This lamp is really built to last outdoors. It deserves 6 stars instead of five!

Good quality; easy assembly; excellent outdoor lamp. Purchased two (for self and gift) and will buy 2 more. Bravo to the manufacturer!

About 6 inches shorter than advertised but it is a nice lamp. 2 levels of brightness. Low is a nice soft light and high is bright enough to read under. Quality is good - heavy base. Using in a covered lanai. I think it will withstand the outside elements.

Well made and sturdy lamp with weighted base. The cloth shade-cover is washable and the two bulb fixture has two brightness settings. Easy construction.

Incredibly easy to put together. Seems sturdy. It’s not going to move in a gale. I didn’t really look at the sizing and it seems about 6-8” shorter than I planned but it’s at perfect hight to sit and read by.

This lamp is wonderful for an outdoor porch. I purchased one last year and bought the mate to it last month. Very nice, heavy quality construction. I also like the two-tier lighting option it offers.

This lamp is fantastic! As stated, it far exceeded my expectations! The ease of assembly ...I’m a 73 year old female with arthritis in my hands ... and lamp was a breeze to assemble! It is much sturdier than I imagined too! We have had some high straight-line winds lately and it did not falter. I am very pleased with this lamp.

This is on an open porch. It seems heavy enough to withstand wind without blowing over. It is not cheap either in quality or in price. You get what you pay for. It is a little shorter than most floor lamps but that makes it more sturdy and it is fine with porch furniture. The company makes different colored covers for the lampshade but I think these are disproportionately expensive at about $50 each.
