A Life Intercepted

You will shed a tear or two along with some anger but you will be glad you read this story. I was so glad about the ending but relieved as well.

It gave an awesome view of what a player feels. Love the faith he had both at the beginning and the end. Living life with love and kindness is the best..

At first, since I’m not a football fan, I couldn’t relate. But after a few chapters, I was hooked, as usual! Raw emotion, and a story full of integrity, perseverance, grit, and most of all…hope. Beautiful story and a must read!

Started this book because we a group of us were going to meet to discuss. I didn’t expect much - another boring or sci-fi, or gory book. Boy, was I surprised!!! If you want to feel love shine, understand motivation, and like football, this is a must read!

Charles continues to surprise me every time I read another book. This one is like no other. The story had me wondering how it would end and I couldn’t put it down. Beautiful love story.

As always with Charles Martin, the character development was great and the storyline was very unique and unexpected. I would recommend it to any adult.

Everyone always says its such a great read. Like there’s no other way to say it. I’m not verbose enough to counter them. This is a great read. Mr Martin writes “emotion” like no one else I’ve ever read. I read profusely. To a fault. When I should be doing other things. I often feel guilty. Not when I read this author. Reading him makes me a better man. Instills hope and love and faith and more in me so I can deal with myself and the world around me with more patience and resolve. How often do you hear or read that about a book you’ve just finished? Give yourself a great gift....read Charles Martin. Anything by him. Everything by him.

Although I always love Charles Martin's books I found this one hard going. If you are not knowledgeable about baseball, its probably one to miss.

Excellent story full of emotion & turns & surprises & redemption. It hit me close to home in some ways & made me appreciate my Mom who made sacrifices for me even more than I had before. I bought it & sent it to her.

If you like the game of football you will like this book, I have liked all of his books until I read this one - way to much football for me

Excellent story if you like football. Interesting personalities and the writing never got old. Charles Martin has a unique voice and it does the soul good to read one of his books.

This could happen a lot easier than we think, in today's crazy world. The jump between being worshiped by society and being demonized by the same people isn't very wide sometimes. This book also shows how a person is automatically guilty until proved innocent for certain crimes today.
