Crayola Ultra Clean Washable Color Max Crayons, Standard Size, Set of 48

I got these for our Melissa and Doug coloring mats that are supposed to use their special crayons. They work perfectly - a lot better than the crayons made for the mats! Regular crayons do not clean off these mats easily, and leave the mats faded and washed out from all the scrubbing required to clean off the crayons. These crayons wipe right off with a damp cloth. Lots of nice colors to choose from. They do melt easily. I made the mistake of leaving a few in a plastic bag in the hot car. They are now melted together in a runny blob. The box I received was missing 3 crayons, and many of them were pointed down instead of the typical pointed-tip-up that new crayons usually have. I am hoping this was due to the trip they took with my friend who brought them to me, and not how they arrived.

Great to find these "ultra-washable" crayons in an array of colors. I find that the washable crayons are a different texture than the regular crayola, they don't color quite as well, but it's well worth it if you have a 2 year old in the house!

Washable crayons are one of those 'world's best inventions,' if you have messy kids around, or you're just an adult who likes crayons and also likes writing on furniture. You'll love all 48 of these colors, or at least the prettier ones. And they do wash off anything I've encountered so far.

If you have little ones these are a must. Washable crayons are so much easier to get out of walls clothing and carpet than the regular ones. Wish I'd had these when I was younger....My mom might not have banned coloring in my room.
