Great fit, very comfortable
Really nice vest. I'm 5'5"/140 lb and the medium fits perfectly. The bungees on the sides do that last bit of tightening to make it super comfy. I've done 6 mile runs in it so far and it is surprisingly comfortable, it doesn't shift around or rub (wearing a tshirt, tank top may be different). It's also nice for pushups and other body weight activities as well. The 10 lb is a nice weight that makes my runs a bit more difficult, but it is dispersed well where I don't feel like my back is taking on extra strain or knees too much pounding. I primarily picked this up since I will be helping a slower friend through half marathon training. It will definitely do the job to make those long runs beneficial for me too. I'm looking forward to hill runs with it and have started even wearing it around under a sweatshirt when just doing walks in the neighborhood and it cranks up my heart rate. Only gripe is that yeah, it gets hot underneath it. We'll see how that feels in the middle of summer, but really what else can you expect from encasing yourself in a vest full of metal. The vest itself though does seem to breathe well and dry out nicely after a run. Not a gripe, but a wish list. I wish it had a little pouch or pocket that you could slip a phone/keys/whatever into it. I can fit a running belt around it to have my stuff with me, but it looks pretty silly. So a pouch could go a long way on future versions of this.

Really great weight vest
I thought this was a little pricey, but it's worth every penny. It feels great. It looks great. It lies flat on your body. It's not bulky like the other ones. It uses these little metal weights for adjustments, not the sandbags that other models use. I'm very happy with my purchase. I had to get the XXL size only sold on Amazon. Hopefully it will help to tmake me lose weight so that I will go down to the XL size. I'm 6 ft., 250 lbs. It fits like a glove.

Real Review
I spent quite a while looking for something I could wear under my clothes, and after trying a few options I stumbled across this vest. After several months of wearing, it's time to write a review. I wore this vest for several months, more often then not for the duration of work as a means of extra pt. I wouldn't recommend weighted clothing for everyone, but if you're looking for something discreet but durable, then look no further. Pros; 1) This vest is easily hidden under the average shirt if you're looking to wear it for a period of time, but sturdy enough that you won't have to worry about it falling apart if you just want to wear it for a run. The weight is controlled via adding or subtracting small metal plates to the vest, I'm currently using 20 lbs worth of weight with weighted sleeves on my forearms and legs (sleeves from seperate manufacturer).and adding weight does almost nothing in regards to bulkiness. 2) Sturdy: I've yet to have a single tear in my vest, and that's with several months of almost daily use. 3) You can move the weights around and distribute them however you wish. This means more comfort and better weight distribution for a much wider variety of people than those bulkier, focused vests. Cons: 1) Pricey; When you consider the fact that there isn't much market for discreet weighted vests, it's expected that the good ones will be somewhat expensive. 2) Some of the slots for weights can be hard to access, even with the tool provided for easy placement. This isnt too much of a problem, but it can make moving the weights around or adding weights a pain. Other then the price, there really are no negatives that come to mind. The whole ordeal with slots being hard to access isn't much of a problem since I don't move the weights around after placing them. I'd recommend this vest to anyone looking for a discreet, weighted vest or just weighted clothing, but with the caution that, as always when working with weights, start light and work your way up to find your limit.

Comfortable vest - Not durable!
Pros: Most comfortable vest that Iโve used. Weight distribution and fit is fantastic. Iโm a 6โ1 male and weigh between 225-235#โs. I bought an XL and it works great for HIIT. The zipper seems to be high quality and is better than Velcro fasteners on other vests Iโve used. The elastic cinching ties make this vest incredibly comfortable and allows for full range of motion in most applications. Cons: This vest was delivered on 2/17/23 and Iโve worn it every workout since the 18th - About 20 workouts- And Iโve already had 1 of the bars fall out through a hole worn into the fabric while on the treadmill. Iโm trying some nylon tent patches (see pictures), but if they donโt work, Iโll have to return it. I donโt want to because I love training with this vest.

Great fit, poor quality.
I purchased this vest for plyometric workouts and have used it 2-4 times per week. The fit is great but after just less than two months of use, here is clear wear and tear to the pockets at the bottom of the vest. I have been extremely careful with the vest and lay it flat to dry after each workout. I have attached photos. It is unfortunate because this is the most comfortable vest I have tried and the most expensive. For the price, I would expect higher quality. It is used for things like burpees, plyo box jumps, lunges, etc.

Time and result tested. A+
Background: I initially purchased two of these vests for myself and my workout partner. We are in our thirties and were in average to below average jogging condition prior to use. He trains BJJ and I have some experience hiking and am generally looking to improve cardiovascular conditioning and lose weight. To augment our cardiac conditioning, we initiated a stairs training program where we jogged/walked up 84 flights of stairs 5x/week. After a month or so of training, the task became too easy and we needed additional resistance to provide continued progress. The Hyperwear Vest proved to be an excellent fit for the task. We started at 10 lbs added weight and added about 5 lbs of weight in one month increments. Now I am currently training with 25 lbs added weight. The vest is configurable and the weight range offered (up to 45 lbs) is perfect for our needs. It is important to note that when doing vertical challenges like stair climbing, added weight augments the nature of the workout in a very dynamic way. If you go too heavy, you most likely will be able to complete the challenge, but you'll find yourself walking and maybe not getting the expected cardio benefits. I have never experience any shoulder pain up to 25 lbs and there is also no neck pain. Footwear: I wear the vest with my five fingers and I have never had even the slightest pain in my ankles, knees, shoulders or other joints. The same can be said for my training partner as we have not suffered even a minor injury in 6 months+ use of the vest. It is important to note that I do have hand rails on our stairs so my lower body does not have to take the brunt of the weight on the way down after each set of stairs. YMMV if you have to go downhill with added weight. Care: It really does work well to wash these in a sink without removing the weight. Once the weight is in, it takes a long time to remove and it is far easier just to wash as they indicate on the website. Also, do be careful not to drop the vest on hard surfaces as it can fray more than usual. Despite that, the vest has still held up very well and I have only busted out one tiny pocket (my fault). I have almost exclusively worn the vest over my clothes and it really doesn't develop much odor (if any) over time. It probably would have been a deal breaker for me if it smelled like offal. Vest vs. no vest: The vest will provide a training benefit that is immediately noticeable on vertical training. It is easy to remove and put back on which is a big deal. Sometimes you want to do sets with it on and alternate as you work up to completing your routine with full vest. Sizing is great and it may actually be easier to put on and take off than a normal shirt. The vest can be very exhaustive and I often feel much more spent after a workout. While it doesn't hurt joints at all, it surely tires out the muscles and you may require some additional recovery time using it at first. The zipper is of very high quality and looks like it will last the life of the vest. Daily use: If you want to wear this daily, I strongly encourage you to wear an undershirt as it doesn't feel that great directly up against skin (but isn't bad either). It is awesome for basic walking. I am even considering getting a second one for myself and going with a bit heavier weight for normal walking as 25lbs isn't bad for me (I am big at 215 lbs though). Backpacking and trekking training: Part of the reason I use it is to train for steep vertical hikes above treeline. I have noticed that after wearing the vest on stairs that all my uphill runs are much easier to accomplish and don't fatigue me as easily in an anaerobic sense. My training partner and I can now run up to 10 miles in a reasonably hot climate (TX) and both of us comment that we simply don't breathe very hard and the cardiac portion of the slow jogs is really easy now. Overall: Fantastic product. Other than slight fraying over time, I can't really see an obvious way to improve the vest. Maybe having something similar for lower body would be a nice addition or having something to put some extra weight on the arms might be a good future offering.

This is a very good vest. It's a snug fit which allows you to do various exercises without the vest bouncing. I would give this vest a five star review, but the vest, in my opinion is too expensive. Just about $200 for the vest, plus $36 more for the booster pack for additional 5 lbs.; to reach the maximum weight for a large vest will cost almost $150 more. That's expensive!. Save your moneyand look elsewhere..

Solid, IMO great for cubicle warriors
I wear it during work (mostly office-based with some driving and a sad minimum of walking) and at first, the ten pounds doesn't feel like much. By the end of the day you feel great taking it off. The adjustable cinch on the side is perfect at getting it to be just tight enough where you like it; at first I didn't tighten the top near the armpit enough and it was a bit floppy; too tight and you can feel it affect your breath. I didn't realize it zipped up the front, which is much nicer than any other weight vest I've owned (over-the-head donning) and very convenient. I'm a fairly average build (5'10", 34in waist, 190 lbs) but it feels pretty versatile. It is quite hard to detect unless someone touches you. I recommend wearing a light undershirt (t-shirt) below it, though a tank top has narrower shoulder straps than this and makes an annoying groove after a full day :< That does make it fairly warm, and you will notice it retains heat/cold for a few minutes after moving indoors or outdoors, being largely metallic plates. If you have decent shoes/boots you'll be fine, but I wore an old pair of sneakers and noticed my knees ached more than usual after being on concrete all day, as expected. I've already got a pack of 5-lb upgrade weights and will step into those in another week. At night I throw it over the back of the chair in the hallway for storage. Would definitely recommend for fellow cubicle warriors, probably in colder climates as I imagine it could hold heat in the summer quite well. Update: added the 5-lb pack and still holding well; you have to be a bit careful when donning/doffing or it feels like you could start popping threads. The extra weights near the side tend to spread and point sideways, depending on your physique, but they don't bother. I'd recommend this for more "every-day" wear than exercising in, IMO.
