Made in China and came with stickers on the plastic wrapping that states "Keep Fire Away". Before opening them I could smell some kind of perfume (or scented flame retardant??) that gave me an instant headache. I'm disappointed with where they're from and the chemicals used on them...that's the main reason why I avoid China made products, they always douse their materials with harmful chemicals.Other than that, they appear to be as advertised. I'm not going to send them to a lab to verify the materials the yarn is made of, but it's really hard to trust that they're made with all natural fibers given the way this smells and the warning label...seriously, that is a first. Pleasant or unpleasant, I want my products free from perfumes and chemicals!

Beautiful gossamer weight lace yarn! So soft and held up well despite me ripping back multiple times to fix mistakes I made in the pattern. Should block beautifully.Please note that this yarn’s thickness is EXACTLY as described in the product description for any knitter familiar with grams to meter ratios (and if you haven’t learned how to decipher that info, then my guess is this kind of yarn is probably above your current skill level). Yes it’s thin - but that’s the point! I don’t think it’s fair to ding a product (like all the reviews complaining about this yarn being too thin) when the buyer just isn’t familiar with what they are purchasing despite the seller providing the relevant info.

It is exactly as shown. Note that lace weight yarn is very thin so don't expect anything more. It is better suited for crocheting than knitting as you have to work with much smaller needles and the delicate yarn which require very nimble fingers and good eye sight. I plan to use it for knitting a lacy shawl. However, I may change to a heavier weight yarn even though the pattern calls for lace weight yarn.

It was very small yarn, and if I’d could have seen the actual size, I wouldn’t have ordered it. However, it was beautiful and soft, so if I crocheted doilies or small items, it would have been perfect. The vendor was extremely helpful in its return.

I'm making a scarf with this yarn and I'm finding it very hard to work with. It feels soft and wonderful, and the color is exactly what my grandson asked for. However, it has no elasticity at all. It is more like string than yarn. That means that every single minor imperfection (e.g. One stitch knitted slightly looser or tighter than the others) in the knitting screams out. A dropped stitch is a major catastrophe. I've been knitting for many years, and I think this is the hardest to knit with yarn that I've run across.

This yarn was woven into an amazing scarf. It was sett at 20 ends per inch. One skein has 399 yards at 3627 yards per pound. Only the black broke several times in the warp... all other colors functioned well, especially for a yarn designed fir knitting! The colors were fast and I noticed no color loss when I wet finished it. It has a wonderful soft hand!!

The yarn felt nice but the yardage was off by quite a lot. I was unable to make the scarf I was trying to make, which is frustrating. I’m not sure I would ever buy yarn from them again.
