I’ve used another Purina dog food for many years. Always good quality that my dogs have always liked. Recently switched to the Senior Plus on the recommendation of my Vet, and my older Lab loves it just the same. The kibble is smaller than what we were used to, but he seems to enjoy it - possible more than the other variety. Maybe it’s just me, but there seems to be a bit of a difference and benefit to this new Vibrant Formula. He seems to have more energy and wants to play more, so I’m happy with this choice.

I know they used to say, your dog can live at least one more year with their food. I think its longer than that, for real. 19 for a med sized dog and almost 12 for a large dog. It's Superfood For Dogs. I've fed my last 2 dogs Purina ONE everyday They both love it, eat it up every day without hesitation. Stay at an optimum weight according to their vet. They're coats look shiny, healthy and soft as you would think they are. They never have stomach issues, eyes are healthy and they work well for them, they tell me. I couldn't ask for more. One was an Italian Greyhound Mix that lived to be 19 yrs old. Had a stroke at 16-17yrs and 3 days later with a couple of steroid pills, bounced back to normal and went on trucking for another 2+ yrs. The other, my 68# pit mix was arguably, 12 yrs old. We would love our dogs to live forever. I can not complain about them being healthy their entire lives. They sure as heck were. I def credit Purina along with a ton of love, as the number 1 ingredient and, the most important thing I could have done for both of them. My newest pup will be enjoying Purine ONE dog food as long as he likes. It doesn't look like he wants to stop eating it anytime soon. The proof is in the food. Try it. Your dogs will love it. Also know that it gives dogs a healthy, happy life. What more can we ask for our family.

I switched my senior dog to this and she took to it right away. She eats it without hesitation and it seems easy for her to chew. No stomach issues or upset after the change, which was important for me. The kibble size is good and it feels like a solid option for keeping older dogs active and well-fed

I alternate between brands and flavors of dry and canned dog food. I've bought Purina One Vibrant Maturity dry dog food off and on for about 6 years. All I can say is that my dogs have always liked it, and if given a choice between this and other dry dog foods, they almost always choose this one. I've been buying this at local stores but for some reason they stopped carrying the smaller 8-lb. bags, so got it here instead for the same price. Give it a try and see what your dogs think of it!

My 8 y/o dog was losing a lot of weight and getting sick. We realized it was her old food and her tummy couldn't handle it so we switched a couple times. We gave this a shot and my Lord, she's never been so fat!! Her coat is shiny now and she has way more energy. She absolutely loves it so I assume she likes the taste. The price is fair for the health of my girl.
