My favorite nostalgic scent! Still works well for detangling too!

One whiff of this product takes me back to the days of my mom spraying it in my hair after a beach-day and the tangles brushing right out! On a nostalgic whim, I purchased this product as an adult. I now use it EVERY DAY. I used to use a fancy "leave-in conditioner" spray, but I found this works 100x better, is a fraction of the price, and has that amazing smell. I will admit that the smell might get a bit sickening if you wear too much of it too often, but I still always get compliments on the smell and my hair looks shiny, healthy, and I'm saving money! I know I sound like an infomercial, but I promise this stuff works. I actually really dislike most loreal products, but this one is an exception. If I worked for their marketing department, I would totally make this an adult product and jack up the price (but shhh don't tell them that!!).

My son has long hair, which he rubs into the pillow while he sleeps. When he wakes up, he has a rats nest that could rival the best of them. We were to the point where we were ready to cut his hair. I have tried other leave-in conditioners, and none of them worked very well. Every morning, we would have tears as I would try to brush his hair. Then, I found this; no more tears in our house over brushing hair! The smell is great, I can actually get the tangles out of his hair, and he gets to keep his long hair! I can't wait to see how this works on my daughters VERY fine hair once it gets a little longer! The only complaint that I have is that it gets very sticky if he sprays too much. As long as it is used in moderation, it is the best product we have found!

I bought this for my preschool aged daughter who has fine, medium length hair. It works great for her! It easily allows combing or brushing with out tears. My teenage daughter also tried it with her fine, super thick, very long straight hair and now uses it every day! I also use it on two of my boys who wake up with bed head. The scent is wonderful-it smells a little more like apple to me than pear. It's really great if their hair needs a little refreshing, but we don't have time to do a shampoo. It dries without looking greasy. I don't know how it does on curly hair, as we only have one child with waves and the rest straight, but this is a product that I'll continue to use because it delivers what it says and makes our mornings much easier! I would also recommend The Wet Brush Rubberized Wet Detangle Shower Brush (Colors May Vary) . This brush along with the Loreal spray is a fabulous combination!

I have VERY thick, wavy, and frizzy hair. I brush it before I shower and still have some knots after towel drying it. I was hoping this detangler would help but it only made my hair feel and act worse. I had insane knots in my hair after using this before attempting to part my hair. As soon as I parted it, it was like I hadn't brushed my hair in months. I almost cried. I had to get help from a family member to brush my hair for me. It left my hair feeling waxy and coarse while wet. The waxy feeling goes away and leaves your hair feeling dry and unmanageable...as if you'd just bleached it 4 times. I do not recommend this. The scent is also incredibly strong and smells like booze. I have used it 3 times now and it's either done nothing or created a home for birds. DO NOT BUY IF YOUR HAIR IS THICK AND WAVY!

We used this on my kids when they were little and my adult daughter recently asked if I could find it for her again. She was so excited when I found it and has loved using it on her super long, naturally curly hair.

Normally, I love the children's products from L'Oreal but this spray smelled like a VERY strong cocktail. Not like just rubbing alcohol but like several liquors combined. It was overwhelming to the point we decided not to use it. Cute bottle, shipped quickly.

I'm old. Yeah.. 55 yrs old. I was mad at Aussie for discontinuing their "Knot Forgotten" rinse.. which was originally named "Slip". But then I found this detangler from L'Oreal. What a lifesaver! I was skeptical that it would work on dry hair -- but it does. :) And the fragrance is so nice.. not overpowering.. just a really great product. My hair is long, dry and wavy. It has a wild party when I sleep at night. This produce solves the problem and is my new favorite. Thanks L'Oreal, you've put a smile back on my face. Thanks to Amazon for listing this product and for allowing us to write reviews. If it were not for the previous reviews, I would not have tried it. It's hard to just buy something off the shelf at the store if you don't know if it really works.

Use it myself on bad hair days - spray, comb and let dry - then sometimes need a bit of curling iron to complete for the day

Only product I have found that untangles my granddaughter's hair!
