My roommate make so much tea. Tea, all the time, and not with teabags, most of the time, usually with infusers. So much that she has four or five different infusers. They are usually all in rotation at the same time. This house is basically a tea shop. On the bright side, it smells lovely! But if you have ever used a tea infuser, you know that when you take it out of the cup, to stop the drink from over-steeping, the metal is hot, and usually still dripping, and depending on the tea you may want to re-steep your leaves! So you need to leave the infuser with the leaves in it out, somewhere, dripping, presumably. Obviously it cannot go directly on the counter. My roommate's solution, for all this time, is typically to take the lid of a recylcable, like the top to an empty cream cheese container, and leave these on every surface in the house. I am not opposed to reusing items, saving the planet, and all that, but at a point this just looks awful. Especially when the infuser gets washed, put away, and the little tea stained pieces of trash are all over the place, and I am forbidden from recycling them, because then where can the infuser go? Or a teabag that is too hot to put in a compost bag without melting it? Enter: A set of these little beauties. These have saved our lease. Among a few other unrelated compromises. When the need arises, they are also lovely for sauces and dipping, but more than anything they are used for exactly what I got them for, which is to go under tea baskets. I use one myself to put under my coffee hand-drip for the exact same purpose. They're pretty, durable, and the perfect size, as well as exceptionally easy to clean. 5 stars thank you

Gorgeous dark blue to green shades in each piece. Each of the eight bowls was unique but put all together looked amazingly similar and balanced. LOVE the durability and glaze. Exceptional value for the price.

These are small but we have found them perfect for serving almonds and other small snacks (3 ginger snap cookies fit perfectly). We also use them for soy sauce when having sashimi. These have turned out to be very useful.

Love sauce bowls until ya 'friend' chucks them in the trash because she.... i mean THEY have a papertowel covering it. Bought these twice and first set was a real nice blue. So bought again and they were greenish tint kindly like was blue and faded because they were old? Not clue. Just not really same color as the first time.

This is the second time I ordered. You can think of it as a personal seasoning bowl. When I eat raw fish or pancakes, I always have leftover soy sauce seasoning, and I hate throwing it away, so I bought a small sized sauce bowl. It's so good. I like the color, but the price... I wish they would make it cheaper depending on the quantity for people like me who buy multiples.

These are great dipping sauce bowls! The blue glaze/finish is better than I expected. They have a good weight to them. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend them.I have a confession, I wanted a small receptacle for pencil shavings when I manually sharpen my pencils (for math, drawing, etc.). These work perfectly. I only use one of the 4 bowls for this. This finish allows me to easily wipe away the graphite, and wood. I figure if we have company over for dinner I'll wash out the pencil shaving receptacle and use it while the Mrs. and guests getting the other non-pencil bowls!! LOL
