You can lay it on damp ground or wet grass and the moisture and water won’t seep through. There are six corner pockets that you can fill with sand or rocks to weight it down and make it windproof, and also four sand stakes for ground or beach. Beach sand slides right off and doesn’t stick to it, and is very easy to wipe clean. It also washes well, I put mine in the washing machine on gentle cycle, and air dried it. I like the nice size. Being waterproof, sand doesn't stick to it. So when you are done shake it a little, fold and ready to go. No more sand in your vehicle. Also works well for watching parades. Lightweight so easy to carry.

Sand doesnt go through this at all. Not worth the money. It's an overpriced piece of thin tarp basically.

Misleading by saying sandproof. I thought this is one that the sand siphoned through. However.. that was not the case. Would have been just as easy to throw down a sheet

Larger than expected. Not easy to fold, but doesnt really need to be folded perfectly to store it. Definitely better than having a sandy blanket! I would recommend!
