AWESOME!
This thing looks like some sort of weird S&M sex toy but its a damn good fly killer. I ordered it for the annoying ass flies in Afghanistan. These things must lift weights around here cause they get right back up after you whack them. Well, after destroying all the cheap plastic ones I decided to order this thing cause it looked like it meant business. Not disappointed at all. Killed like 80 of them today in one of our guard towers! Yeah, that's right. EIGHTY. Its still holding together. Highly recommended. Yeah make fun of me all you want, but I'm getting paid the big contractor bucks (who said military combat experience doesn't pay on the outside?) to sit in a tower watch for intruders and kill flies. Ha ha. Jokes on you for staying in.

Gets the job done
I was fed up with the flimsy plastic fly swatters and how hard it was to find a fly swatter in a store. Enter the Amish fly swatter. This thing works great. It is made out of a sturdy leather and packs a good punch. I have swatted large hornets mid-flight and it stunned them with no issue. The wire handle is similar to a coat hanger but not as rigid. It can bend if you put too much pressure on the swatter but can easily be bent back into shape. Also this swatter doesn't get grody like the plastic ones. I assume because it is black - the bug gut bits are not visible. :)

a better mouse trap
I love this fly swatter, and I feel that it's a product that will last a long time, as it is made of leather. I have to confess that, because it is heavier than the all plastic ones, it is a bit slower to swat, and it might take a little time to get use to. I'm very satisfied with it and recommend it to anyone who is tired of repeatedly buying fly swatters that easily fall apart. Built to last.

Does the job, but leaves it's mark
It does the job and the leather is sturdy. Sure the handle is a bit flimsy by comparison, but it's not bad. However,I'm a bit concerned at what they used to dye the leather black, as I am noticing that I have a fly-swatter-shaped black mark on my white ceiling. I wish they had used natural/un-dyed leather as a result.

Best flyswatter ever! I would give it 6 stars if I could!
We have a dozen fly swatters of all sizes including batter-operated zappers and THIS ONE WORKS THE BEST because there are just enough holes to allow it to fly through the air with ease, but not enough holes that the flies go right through them, which is the problem with all the other swatters we have. It's also stiff enough that the fly can't push it away (yes, we have one which is so flimsy that even if I manage to hit the fly, it just bends back and doesn't squash it). This one mashes it.I bought two more of them but I got the ones offered through Amazon prime because I needed them right away and they are not as good as this one because the leather is a lighter color. Because this one is dark, fly gunge doesn't show as readily.

Poor
Returned the 2 swatters hat I ordered. Handle was VERY flimsy - ent on first swat. Also the swatting part would make a nice handbag or wallet but it didn't kill a fly!

Really nice!
These fly swatters are pretty heavy duty. I like the fact of leather it won’tbreak or dry rot. It took a bit to get because I guess they have to make them. The wire handle could be a bit heavier other than that it’s a great buy. It

This fly swatter is NOT 20 inch per description.
This fly swatter looks durable but it is NOT 20 inches per the description. Instead, it's 18 1/4 inches. The only reason I bought this is because it claims to be 20 inch, thus, it is easier to reach out and smack those annoying flies. I'm annoyed that's it's not 20 inches like it claims. Nevertheless, it's still better than the plastic ones.
