So I bought now two of these and I absolutely love them. I love a good glass exactly how it was in my mom's house. If you're thinking about purchasing something for your kitchen. Go and purchase this

I had bought a couple of different brands before and was disappointed. They were made of plastic, one broke in half at the seam and the plastic bar got cloudy and wouldn’t come clean. This one has a large glass base, much larger than I need but I’d rather too big than not big enough. The squeezer top works well and has a nice gasket where it meets the glass rim. It cleans up nicely and still looks new.

Works great. Small seeds will drop through though. Don't expect it to catch every seed. If it did, no juice would ever get through the pulp and seeds. It does catch all the larger seeds which is most of them. I just take a teaspoon and remove the small ones. It takes just second to get the juice out of citrus. My son-in-law gave me a bunch of Meyer Lemons the size of soft balls. Squeezed them in 1/2 cup batches - great for Lemonade or a Lemon Meringue Pie. I like that the bottom is glass, so the lemon juice can't etch the container. The only thing I would suggest and stopped me from giving it 5 stars: Measuring marks on the side would have been nice.

Juicer works great and even fits over the wide mouth carnival cup I use for drinking purposes – it fits large lemons well and small lemons perfectly I am quite happy with it and it is as basic as you can get just don't screw it tight you can't get it loose as I did When I had to throw away. I bought these to replace my old broken ones upon which the plastic tops became brittle over time. These are great. They even sent me two different colors (orange and yellow). The slots are big so sometimes small seeds might get through, but if you don't know how to remove the top and use a spoon to remove them... Then you probably don't belong in a kitchen. I make a lot of lemonades for my 8 year old and his friends. This has a large glass base, and sturdy plastic top which is perfect for my needs. I read about how the pour spout doesn't allow all of the juice out... But I remove the top every time I pour out the juice, so I never noticed. It's a habit I developed several years ago using this type of juicer. I also read that there is no lid.... My lemonade doesn't last long enough to warrant a lid.... Well, I would write more, but I am going to go make some lemonade....

I thought it would be good to switch to a glass base after having lost part of my old beloved plastic lemon juicer. Well let's just say this thing doesn't work. Here's my list: Cons: it's huge the spout is in a bad spot so all your seeds fall into whatever you are pouring into it is very cumbersome to even get the top to attach onto the base, it's just not worth the effort it has no lid to act as a gripping aid in holding the lemon it has no cover for the glass base to make storing in the jar easy Pros: it has a glass base for storage of any extra juice, as long as you creatively make your own lid
