Pachmayr01380 Decelerator Recoil Pads, Youth, Black

I used this for a stock I cut down for my boy when he got his first deer tag. I’m sure there are people who can fit these without having to refinish the stock but I ain’t one of them. Luckily I was gonna do that anyways so no biggee. It works great, has tight screw spacing for really small stocks although I think it would work on most stocks as it’s pretty generous.

Nice pad that does not have the metal insert. This is what I needed as we have a shotgun stock cut off short for a kid. Regular pads would not grind small enough before impinging on the metal insert. This pad worked perfectly for our purpose. Highly recommended if you need a pad for a small stock. Should also mention that this pad is nice and soft as well. Soaks up recoil very nicely.

Installed on Marlin 60 to increase length of pull more than absorb recoil of a....22LR.Some sanding required to achieve flush match with stock but overall not difficult tocomplete installation and it was closest match to dimensions required for Marlin 60stock.

Worked out fine and had no metal insert to grind into! This is the third Pachmayr recoil pad I've fitted to my old side by sides. Look great and do a excellent job of reducing recoil.
