This is our third Pet Loader that we have bought. That's how good they are. We sleep with our dogs; don't judge us! Our bed is very high and slowly they have lost the ability to jump up on the beds. They are 70+ pound labradoodles and are the world's best dogs. One is 13 and his brother is 11, but they still believe that they are puppies. You could see their sadness at their failure to get up on the beds. Now they are happy to climb up on their own. If you have a big dog, you know that their stride is wide and long, these are the only pet stairs that accommodate that. They refused to use a ramp; too steep. We got this narrow model to fit onto the backseat of our car. The doors do not open wide enough to use a wider step, but the boys are fine with this one. We have tried many, many other choices, but these are the only ones that will work with big dogs. Do yourself a favor and go with these from the beginning.

Excellent! I thought it would might be too heavy and awkward for me to use, but it isn't at all. My dogs learned to use it in a single session of a few minutes, aided by treats, of course. I originally purchased the 'mini', but decided that my dogs would be safer with a wider platform, so I exchanged it for an Ultralight. The company was great about the exchange, making it very easy for me--and the Ultralight is only a pound heavier. I am careful to spot my as they use the stairs--I have short-legged heavy dogs--but I think that would be essential for any breed.

This product was exactly what I was hoping it would be. Our dogs love it and have no problems with it. It Is very easy to get in and out of the vehicle. Very lightweight and durable. Anyone who has had their fingers pinched by the stupid ramps, will love it! Our two dogs are boxers and one is 80lbs (10 yrs), the other 60 (6 yrs).

Great GREAT product! Expensive but great. This works so much better than a ramp for large breeds.It does have a tendency to pinch your fingers or hands, but well worth the effort to learn to manage it, over using a ramp.
