I finally won the battle between myself and the cats who felt they belonged on the new chair. Double sided tape and strategically placed pillows and throws were brazenly ignored by the stubborn felines. I removed the inadequate cats countermeasures, draped the shock mat over the chair, and left for work. On my return that evening found two sulking cats on the cat tree. The chair has been cat free ever since. Victory is mine.

The mat worked great. I used it on my counter for my dog who would keep going up when we were not home. She would take anything an everything off of them. She jumped up on the mat once and has not gone back up on the counter since. We have actually been able to just lay the mat out and not turn them on. With them just laying there she will not jump on the counter. I would recommend them to any one who is trying to keep their animal off of areas! They Work

Works perfectly fine just dont put a cheap 9V in it dies fast , dog tried to get on the couch just once and learn quick , he won't try it again once he sees the mat on the couch

I like the newer model becuase it has the sound attached to the shock. It takes on one cat to find out and the others learn from that one that this area is now a NO CAT ZONE.

It only took one shocking experience for our Doxie to realize that if that pad was on the couch, she was not going there. Being clever she also realized that if it wasn't, then she would nest nicely under a pillow. It works well-as intended & I would recommend it to others.

I purchased one to see if they workOrder several more to put around motorcycle keep cats from jumping on , cats totally avoid and walk around

I like the that this item is a full proof of my pet or my puppy not jumping on my couches since i used it the first day i received the product its amazing!
