Perfect for a gift
I have a few power stations and I have a father-in-law who likes to go camping. He has sleep apnea and has to have a machine with him to help him sleep. I think they are CPAP or something. I am not sure. Anyways, he used one of my power stations when sleeping in an overnight tent on a hike and that worked very well. Anyways, that generator was a different generator, but way less mAh and was also a 300W. I purchased this one for him as a gift so he can use it in emergencies and so he can take it camping. I did some testing on this first to be sure it wasn't a dud, which I believe you should always do with these things. I have had a different company send me one that won't take a charge so gift or not, test it before you gift it. This one worked the first time and seems to be the capacity stated. It can be heavy. I wouldn't take it on a backpacking trip, but if you plan on doing some driving and sleeping in the woods next to the car then use this. The light is perfect and I was able to charge my phone and even a pretty powerful alienware laptop. It worked well. It will be good for him for hurricanes, if he ever loses power or good for camping. I believe he will love this gift. In case you have never used one of these before, let me state, make sure you know what you are attempting to charge or run on these. If you try to use the full 300W it won't last a long time maybe about 8-12 hours. If you do more than 300W like run a 500W dryer then it will shut itself down. It's trying to avoid you blowing it up. It's for safety. If you run 100W or less you could run this one for a long time I would expect. If you want it for emergencies and just using box fans then you could run it for about 36 hours on low. It has a really good capacity and I would absolutely recommend this. Oh and this says solar generator, technically, yes you can charge it with the sun, but be aware you need solar panels and the right dc input for it. It doesn't come with any of that. I would hope someone understands that, but I have had friends tell me they don't understand how it's a solar generator. It's a misleading term. It's a battery pack that can be charged through solar input provided your solar panel has the right output. It does have some cords which can attach to some solar panels, but it won't work for all panels. Some have usb and a small DC out. You probably want a 50W or higher solar panel for you to charge this even remotely fast by the sun.

Impressive capabilities...Pure Sine Wave and Power Meter are key features....
The media could not be loaded. This is the 3rd portable power station we have, and the most capable. In particular, this has the ability to directly charge USB-C laptops, standard 12V accessories and pure sine wave AC makes this more capable than the other 2 units we have. Besides the standard camping and emergency backup uses, we also use them in the yard to power water pumps, radios, air inflators for rafts and charge tools in the field when you don't want to have to leave your car running.I have a Bosch 12V battery conditioner and a Bosch cordless power tool charger and both are finicky on their power source. The ability to have a pure sine wave eliminates this issue. Also, the ability to power a laptop from USB-C is much more efficient than having to step up to 115 AC then back down to a laptop charger. One useful feature of this power station is the auto power off - if it detects no power draw, then it will shut off power to the outlets. I have had situations with my other power packs where it ended up drawing the power all the way down even when I wasn't actually using the device.Weight is 2.67 kg or 5# 14 oz - almost 4 lbs. One minor criticism is that the bottom feet are just hollow plastic ribs. I ended up using some Sugru compound to add my own feet so it wouldn't scratch our hardwood floor. Another issue is solar charging compatibility. One key thing - while the input socket indicates 19V, I tried with my solar panel which was registering 12.42V and it was recognizing it and allowing it to charge at 24-25 watts. Slow going, but definitely useful.User interface is dead simple - press power to turn on, then press AC if you want AC. in AC mode, both the AC and DC outlets work, which is particularly handy if you're camping and want to run multiple devices - my other 2 battery packs do not allow full DC capability at the same time as AC, so that's a big win.

Small but loaded! Great!
We are building an off grid tiny house. We have been searching for something to use on our nightstand to power/recharge our phones and tablets and smart watches. We didn’t want to use our main solar powered generator because it is large and inconvenient. The Altizure was perfect. I ordered it and it came quickly. I fully charged it via our home outlet. There are blue indicator lights showing The charge. I first charged my iPad pro from 15% to fully charged, it took about 3 - 4 hours and the Altizure still showed 100% charge. I plugged in my iPhone 7 Plus and went to bed. Next morning the Altizure had fully charged my phone, cut itself off and STILL shows 100%. We had purchased a barn style Edison lamp to hang in the tiny house to run on our big generator. We plugged this lamp in, (led 6w bulb) and so far it has worked for four hours, charged my phone again and now the Altizure shows 75% still available. We ordered another Altizure for my husbands night stand. These Altizures are so light weight and portable we plan to have one on each night stand and make “mason jar” wall sconce lamps and power them for our bedside lights as well as recharging our devices. I can move them around to power lights in other areas and our main generator can be saved for the big appliances like our microwave, toaster, and Kuerig. The Altizure is so easily transported, we can take it home and recharge it, use our 12 volt car charger OR our on site solar panel. It looks great sitting on our night stand and apparently holds a nice long charge to keep us going for our three day excursions. we get all this ability for less than $100 each! Love it!
