Columbia Unisex-Child Kids Powderbug Forty Snow Boot

I really like the looks of this boot and that its Velcro,so its easy for my 5 year old to get on and off by himself. Only problem, they fit really small. My son just moved up to a size 12 in little boys shoes. He's got under Armour tennis shoes and a pair of cowboy boots that are a size 12, so I bought one size up to account for socks, he cant even get his foot in them. Buy large.

I tried every which way to get these boots on my son’s feet, and I couldn’t do it! I had even bought a size up. My son is solid and has thick feet so I was worried about this. My 2 year old likes to do things himself, so I definitely had to send these back since there was no way his feet would fit in them.

These boots actually would have fit my child's foot good, but there was no stretch to the upper portion and she physically could not get her foot down into the boot. We had to return, which was disappointing because the color was perfect and was very cute

I wanted to like these very sturdy, warm boots. Unfortunately, they were incorrectly packaged. They said size 13 on the box, but inside the boots were size 11. I would have loved to kept them if they had fit.

The boot looks great, feels great and the foot size appeared to be right if I could’ve only have gotten my 26 months granddaughter’s feet into the boot itself. That 90 degree angle did not allowed her foot to go through at all. She’s a size 9 and I got a size 10.

The boots are very nice, they are very confortable and I liked the quality of the materials.

These snow boots from Columbia are warm and feature double the insulation of other kids winter boots that I've looked at (these have 400g of insulation).That said, it looks like boot shell may not have been adjusted for the inner liner as the boots fit somewhat narrow and indeed can be a pain to put on if your child has wider feet for their age. The actual size of the boots is also way off. I've ordered size 9 toddler in these boots for our son who's soon going to outgrow his size 7 Sorel Snow Commander boots and they fit like a size 8. In fact, our son also has size 8 Bogs insulated boots that are noticeably bigger than these Size 9 Columbia boots.With all that said, if you adjust for smaller sizing when ordering and your kid doesn't have particularly wide feet then this boot should make for awesome outdoor adventures as they're warm and stay well on our son's feet with the ankle strap tightened up (the flip side of being harder to put on). They also have a bump out in the back to keep heel straps on snowshoes or the little one's first set of skis from sliding off. I just wouldn't recommend these for daily daycare use.

My daughter is in a size 8, bought a 9 so she had some room to grow into them, as with most of the other reviews, couldn't get her foot in all the way. Her foot fit in the liner fine, but couldn't get it into the boot at all.

We bought Columbia as we have never had any issues with their closing in the past. My daughter likes her boots a lot as it kept her warm and dry even on the mountains with deep snow.

These would fit my daughter if i could get them on. They are very tight at the top and impossible to get on. I would not recommend for children of Kindergarten age who have to dress themselves. I couldn't even help her get these on.
