Perfect!
I have a small half-bathroom with no counter space for a soap dispenser, but now, problem solved! This dispenser came with no instructions which led to some frustration in trying to install this properly. I couldn't figure out why in the heck a lot of people in the comments had such an easy time installing this--perhaps they had an instruction manual. I tried several times to screw the wall ring (that the dispenser sits in) to the wall plate to no avail. I absolutely could not get the wall ring to stay on the wall plate. My husband and I almost gave up until I turned the wall plate backwards and realized that it's supposed to be concave, not convex! I hope this helps someone else who has no instructions and can't figure this out.

Nice finish and easy install
I got the soap dispenser to free up some space in my RV's bathroom cabinet. Seems well made and my granddaughter used it without pulling it off the wallReduced the rating because after a few months the pump stopped working, no amount of cleaning freed it up. I asked seller if they sold the pump separately and never got a response. I replaced the pump with one from another hand soap dispenser.

Flawed pump design
First impressions out of the box were very favorable: love the frosted glass, perfect size bottle, and the slightly patinated nickel finish was perfect. Having read quite a few reviews, I knew that the mounting screws and anchors were probably insufficient, and had already selected 3" deck screws to affix the mounting bracket to the wall. Bonus points for selecting a mounting location over a wall stud, for which I pre-drilled the holes and installed the mounting bracket solidly. Fyi, if you install the bracket with the horizontal slot on the bottom, you'll have the perfect leeway to compensate for any production flaws in the bottle holder ring (several reviewers mentioned it wasn't level). Mine was slightly off too, but that installation trick allowed me to compensate and mount mine so the ring was perfectly horizontal. Here's where I noticed the real problem: The spring on this pump is FAR too stiff; and the pump head has way too much play from side to side. End result is too much sloppy pressure per pump, which would end up stressing the mount. I ended up swapping out another pump head (unfortunately it's black), for much easier action, but am looking for something more cosmetically appealing. The concept and the glass bottle are very good, but the designer missed the boat with the pump head.

Doesn't last more than a year, the pump will break.
Pay more and buy something better quality. The cheap pump, which prior to cracking, leaked soap creating a mess. The finish of the pump doesn't match the rest of the finish which is chrome.I contacted the seller, they said it was a user issue, apparently pumps need to be cleaned? I have another soap dispenser in another bathroom, works fine without ever having been "cleaned." Seller also directed me to purchase another pump, which probably costs no more than 35 cents from their website, for $9.99 (bargain). The least they could've done was to offer another cheap pump for free, but they refused. I bet they make their money off of selling the cheap pumps for $9.99Save your money, buy something else, unless you want to replace it again after a year.

Poor quality dispenser top.
Update: Less than a month after writing my previous review, and barely a month after buying and installing it, the chrome soap dispenser top has cracked and started to peel up. For less than 3 months of use I’m pretty disappointed in the quality of this product. We bought this because we have no counter space in our new master bath. This is the perfect solution. It installed pretty easily and holds a good amount of soap. So far it is pretty sturdy after about a month of consistent use.

You'll Need a Strong Arm to Pump It
This wall-mounted soap dispenser is elegant and functional, but it has a problem. The spring in the pump dispenser is apparently manufactured on Superman's planet Krypton! You have to push down on it so hard my 6-year-old granddaughter cannot do it! For that reason, I'd recommend making sure there's a stud in the wall behind where you mount it, because wall anchors in drywall are likely to fail over time.

Pump sticks, returned
This is a beautiful soap dispenser but if it doesn’t work it’s worthless. It wasn’t two weeks after installing that the pump started sticking. I cleaned it out, changed the soap (just in case) and tried again but the pump still stuck. I gave it two stars because it’s attractive but really it should get one since it wouldn’t even work. Sent this one back.

Nice upgrade
I'm not normally a fan of permanent soap fixtures, but my house came with an ornate brass soap dish mounted to the wall with an industrial metal anchor, which I had to cover with something. This has a clean, modern look and frees up counter space. I am actually liking not having the soap bottle on the sink making a grubby ring, and now I can buy in bulk.
