Pretty and effectively disperses oils, but is difficult to open and has bright lights under the buttons
I use this to diffuse essential oil to help with my allergies at night. It looks nice sitting on my bedside table. It does seem a little inconsistent with how long it lasts, which might just have to do with the humidity in my room. Sometimes I can get more than two nights out of a single filling. Other times it's just one night. But it's always been at least one night.I'm sure it varies depending on the quality of oils you use, so I don't want to knock this product since I'm not certain if it's the reason, but I did notice that the scent of the oil is only noticeable for the first few hours. The steam does last all night though so that's good! It's not much steam though, so if you're hoping to use this also as a humidifier I don't think it would work very well.I have two main complaints with this. The first is removing the lid to refill it. I have pretty severe repetitive motion injuries and some nights after a hard day at work I can't quite grip it well enough to open it. It's a pretty wide smooth surface you have to grip to twist it open. And it's not the easiest to put back on either. So if anyone has an injury or illness that makes it difficult to open jars or anything then this will probably give you some issues as well. The second issue I have is the lights under the buttons are crazy bright! I like sleeping in dark, as dark as possible. I put electrical tape over the buttons which helped. But the light still reflects a little bit up through the white top. It's not unbearable, but I'd prefer if there was some way to keep it from lighting up at all. Take note, I'm not talking about the light feature because that can be turned off. I'm talking about the light built into the buttons to signal different things (like whether it's on or not) that can't be turned off.

Works well, easy on the eye, but not powerful enough w/ poor design
Okay product. It's my first diffuser, but I have a few frustrations with it:It doesn't seem to be very powerful. I can only detect it in the room it's being used in, rather than some diffusers I've been around that seem to diffuse a much larger amount and fill the air of multiple parts of the home.Removing the top lid is nearly impossible without spilling. The top and bottom pieces are pretty seamless, with no notching for easy removal, as well as a slick material without grip. The key is to not twist it on tight, just replace the top piece in a way that lets it completely close, but leave it in that position without twisting. Then it's easy to remove - just use your fingernails to separate the top from the bottom and pull the top off.Otherwise, I've enjoyed using it and have found the amount of oil drops needed to effectively diffuse will vary between different oils, but certainly doesn't work with 1-2 drops. It's more like 5-10 for my preference.

Absolutely love it
I really like this product. I love the zen style of it. It's suitable for a small room and also plays as a decoration. However, it is pretty small so if you plan use it in the living room or a very big bedroom then you should consider buying a larger one. My only complaint is that the stream of mist is relatively small. I expected it to produce a larger stream to moisturize the room. Nevertheless, if you use it with essential oil, you will find the room filled with scent only after 5-10 minutes. It's very relaxing for a stressful grad student like me. You can play around with the oil to keep your skin healthy or relieve cold symptoms such as nasal congestion. The operation is pretty simple, and product is easy to assemble and disassemble. I usually use it during my sleep (I don't want it to run for too long) so for 1 time filled up, it's good to go for 2-3 nights depending on how long it's on (about 14-16 hours total). The oil will diffuse fast so you'll have to add more every time you use it. Overall, this is a pretty good product and I'm sure it will be a great present for anyone who love essential oils.

This does not put out enough vapor for a large room. This may be ideal for a bathroom or a small massage room in a spa. The changing LED colors are nice but some colors didn't transition smoothly or in spectral order. (It went from green to red, skips orange and yellow) The design is nice, although you can tell it's a woodgrain print on plastic. The LED indicator lights on the front are distracting and unnecessary. I'm returning this and purchasing the Now Foods brand. My mother has the Now Foods diffuser and you can smell the essential oils downstairs when the unit is running upstairs. That is the kind of output I was hoping for with the iHomeSet diffuser.

Very Happy! Wonderful product!
I recently bought this item for my massage therapy office. I was worried about the noise factor as other aromatherapy devices in the past have has a gurgling or buzzing sound. I like the wood design as it brings an element of earth and the lights are soft and colorful and soothing. Also the light can be turned off which is a nice option. When I got this item in the mail, my 6 year old asked if he could have it in his bedroom for the night which I agreed. Well good luck getting it out of there now. I did manage to sneak it away the other day but I will be buying one for him and possibly one for my bedroom as well. The light is so soothing and the sound that it emits is very soothing and gentle as well. Most importantly the ultrasonic mist that it puts out leaves a gentle scent that lightly permeates the room. It's all very gentle. I actually fell asleep to it when it was in my sons room next to my head. It's that soothing! So I used it in my office yesterday while massaging my client and I never even heard it. I could detect a very pleasant lemongrass scent in the room. I am very very happy and will perhaps be purchasing this item for Christmas gifts as well.

Relaxing
I use my diffuser at work, and everyone comments on how great it smells and how it makes the office feel like a spa. I used it at home for a while and loved the multi changing lights, but the stream of steam was so small it would need to be in a smaller area for the scent to be more noticeable. That's why I took it to my office
