The kit arrived with everything neatly packaged, and it literally has all material and tools needed (except for another pot to put water in) to make 6 candles. I made my very first two candles tonight in 40 minutes - super easy by following instructions on the booklet that comes with the kit. I haven't been able to light them cuz they need to cure for 2 days, but I'm already impressed with how great the candles turn out! Both candles smell heavenly - I used the roses and lemon verbena scents. Also, I love how they cool down to dreamy pastel colors that I don't normally find elsewhere!Another pleasant surprise is the quality of the melting pitcher. It's got a coated inner surface and metal rings at the bottom for heat conduction. The pitcher itself is easily worth quite some money, and I can see myself using it for other purposes in the future.Overall, super satisfied with my purchase and won't hesitate recommending this for anyone looking for a beginner's kit.

My husband and I bought this product to make candles for our family for Christmas. It was wonderful! It had everything you needed to make the candles. The scents that were provided were strong and didn't fade after making the candles. Everything was very easy to use. If you followed the directions you got great candles! We had extra wax and scents to make more candles. We did not use the tins that were provided so I am not sure if that would have made a difference in the amount of wax left.Tip: Make sure you have a large pot that you can fit the wax melting pot into. It is not big but you will need that to complete the wax melting.

This kit is perfect for beginners! Made 6 awesome candles with this kit and then bulk ordered supplies to make more. My only advice is that you have to use all 4 color blocks to get the described color. I used 2 green blocks and 3 yellow blocks and the color is barely noticeable in those, but I used all 4 blocks for the remaining candles and they are beautifully colored :)*I accented my candles with stuff I had around the house, the kit doesn’t include all the toppings on my candles!*

my boyfriend loved this gift! it had everything he needed to start making his first candles. he wasn't too happy with the scents (although I personally enjoyed the floral scented candle he made for me), but I bought him more scents from michael's and he still uses the kit regularly (they have sweet scents like warm cookie and autumn spice there, which he loves).

This set is great for beginners and very easy to use. The scents are great and are strong enough to smell up a large room. Made these and gave them as Christmas gifts.

After I made the candle let it sit for 3 days and then burned it for 3 hours like the instructions say it dried up like this. Total disaster. Will never buy again.

This was my first experience with candle making. This product is great for anyone wanting to start making candles. Easy to use. Candles turned out great.

Horrible experience... all of my fragrance oils were spilled. Looking online to repurchase fragrances and cannot locate the company for more of those fragrances. Not a happy customer.
