Got this set for our 12-year-old. He wasn’t over-the-moon excited, but he read the books with interest and kept going through the series. The story is clever and entertaining — a good fit for this age group. A solid pick if your kid enjoys adventure with a bit of mystery and sci-fi.

Great stories that really get the reader hooked, brings me back to my childhood when I borrowed them from the library. Perfect gift for an aspiring writer or someone who loves to read.

I had to buy the entire collection of these books after my son watched the movie. They are "awesome" according to him. I plan to read them also.

So glad I got this set. haven’t read in over ten years but was just as good if not better than I remembered. Such a good series.

The books did not come damaged. I love them and have been reading these since I was a kid. It's an amazing series. I do like the white editions better but this is a great and affordable alternative. Colfer is an amazing author and always creates must reads.

Christmas present for grand-daughter. She loved it. Im a retired librarian and it pleases me that she loves to read. We actually have unknowing read the same books. Makes for good conservations.

books are great for young readers

I read the first couple of these as a kid and loved them. Forgot all about them until one day just perusing Amazon. Wife bought them for my Birthday and even as an adult I love the fun read. I wouldn't say this is the most amazing writer but I enjoy his style (maybe a little cheesy with descriptions) but will keep them and read to my kids.

I really loved those books when I was in highschool so I ordered the new edition to read them again. The new covers are colorful and well drawn and the size is practical for travel. There was a problem with my order though, the box set arrived all beat up and teared in an enveloppe. I managed to get a replacement and asked it to be shipped in a box to avoid damage but it was still shipped in an enveloppe. Fortunately, this time around there was no damage.

Excelente libro para niños de 10 a 14 años. Llego a tiempo y en buen estado.
