Craftsman Deep Burned Clay Handi/Pot for Cooking and Serving 4 Liter

I ended up ordering a much larger kadai than I needed by mistake, and its really heavy!! Like dislocating your wrist heavy. But that's my fault. Apart from that, I am very happy with it. It's heavy because of thickness, otherwise you would end up having a cracked kadai within days. A little bit overpriced, but after seeing the quality, price is justified. Cooks quite fast, cleans easy! So, why are you guys waiting? If you want organic, toxic free method of cooking and 100% retention of nutrition in food, just go for it! You wont regret! And it will make you forget your nonstick cookware, I promise! I will definitely order a smaller version of it sooner. I am replacing all of my aluminium and nonstick cookware.EDIT: AFTER 4 MONTHS OF CONSTANT USE, IT HAS CRACKED EVEN AFTER MAINTAINING AS PER INSTRUCTION!! 😭😭 OIL HAS STARTED TO LEAK FROM BOTTOM. I AM HEARTBROKEN 😭😭😭!!! I LOVED THIS KADAI!!

I just loved my clay pot. Beautifully hand-crafted. It is quiet thick which makes it great for cooking anything. Heats up pretty fast and stays hot for longer time than metal utensils.But the best part is the flavour of the food cooked in it. My first cook was dal and it tasted delicious. People who had the luxury of eating food cooked in earthern pots or on the mitti ki 'angithi' or 'chulha' they will understand what i am talking about and people who haven't they need to try it. Since my purchase i have cooked so many things in it and everything turns out delicious. Perfect for dum biryani etc. I just loved the earthy aroma in the food cooked in it. And it is supereasy to clean. Just handle it with care obviously as it is clay.Some may think it is a little expensive but to be honest for the fact that it is handcrafted and great quality pot it makes it totally worth it. I will be ordering a small pot for tadka/tempering as the it imparts great earthy flavor in the cooked food.

The product is very well made and strong.It is black in colour and exactly 4 litres as described. I cooked biryani in it and it came out excellently. It smelt divine because of clay pot and i cooked on slow fire. Special thanks to the seller and amazon for packing it so well and delivering it with care.

The media could not be loaded. After just 3 months of use and being extra careful the pot cracked. Value for money - not worth it.

I wanted to try earthen pots so purchased this. It is a big size Handi. Whenever my friends come over we make briyani in it.It's easy easy clean, just soak in water for sometime and scrub the surface.I'm yet to cook curries. But for now m a happy customer.
