It's a nice-looking grab bar, but would have to question the fixings supplied. I've fitted other grab bars before and this one although robust in design is held to the wall by 2 screws on each side, most sturdy grab bars use 3 not 2. First point is the holes are top and bottom so when the bar is assembled and people are using it all the downward force is put on the top screw, not ideal. Second point the holes for the screws are small max screw diameter that fit is 4.5mm, the screws they provide are 4mm with 30mm wall plugs. Not really ideal if you are going through thick tile, grout and plaster before you hit brick. I ended up making a slight alteration by drilling a larger hole for the top screws so I could use M6 posi drive anchor bolts as seen in last picture. I used 6mm wall plugs and my own 4mm x 40mm screws for the bottom holes. It is as solid as it will ever be and I'm confident it is not going to eventually get pulled out of the wall. The posi drive stainless steel anchor bolts can be found on your favourite auction site at around £15 for 10. It is fine to use the supplied fixings if the bar is more for steadying yourself. However, If like me you need the support and use it to pull yourself up or hang on to it to get in and out of the bath or shower I would reconsider how you fix it to the wall, you can do it the same way as I did or drill extra holes.

I was looking for one that didn't spoil the look of our new bathroom and have one situated on the wall by the sink to help get out plus it doubles up as a towel rail or to put the bathmat on to dry during the day. Good and solid, totally recommend

Na eerst een handgreep met zuignappen geprobeerd te hebben -een onding-, deze besteld. Een topproduct met messing onderdelen dat daardoor zeer stabiel bevestigd kan worden. De meegeleverde pluggen (30 mm) en schroeven zijn echter een beetje minimaal zeker voor een tegelwand op een wat dikkere stuclaag. Heb ze vervangen door een 50 mm plug en 50mm schroef.

Hansgrohe no decepciona. Calidad y estética incomparable.
