Versatile shapes and height!
With a later planting of veggies this year, we decided to stick our cucumbers and tomatoes into pots so they were in sight and mind. The tomatoes have been growing fast, and this tool has been perfect for promoting vertical growth and (hopefully in a couple of weeks) helping separate the plant for easier picking. The parts are made of sturdy green plastic, which seems to work well so far and look nice.I was surprised as all the parts came loose in one box, so be mindful of that and open it over a rug or somewhere visible so you do not accidentally lose something when you take everything out. Some rods with shallow cone tips are supposed to be used as the base to stick into the ground. I tried to use this, but as my dirt was pretty loose, this feature didn't really matter as the other poles can be stuck into the ground as well, and the coned ends can still be slotted into the brackets to extend height so you are not loosing out on pieces. One of the best and most cumbersome features is that you can customize the height and shape of the rods with the attachable brackets. The suggested shape is a triangle (triangular prism), but I also created a pentagon shape for my cucumbers based on the pot size. There are brackets with three slots to hold the rods together, and though it can take finagling to figure out the best spot and avoid the vertical connectors, it was a pretty straightforward process. As my tomatoes grow in height, I have even taken some of the bottom brackets used to separate the leaves and moved them upward to arrange the top leaves, which is a nice feature. The cucumber pot does not have much verticle growth, but similarly, I have used extra brackets to arrange the leaves so they are more accessible for picking along with support.I have little experience growing produce in cages—maybe some pre-done cages from the store—but not much. It seems more helpful to other cages because of the versatility of its structure, though it may take more time to set up as a lot of them are fully done. With this, I have really enjoyed this product, and I have ordered more for other parts of my garden!

Excellent for growing my tomatoes!
I use this system instead of tomato cages as this allows me the flexibility to make them very tall or any shape that I prefer. You can assemble them with just stakes and connectors to form a pole. This works great when the plants are younger. Eventually, they get bigger, and you can disassemble the pole to remove it, and make a larger cage. Eventually, I end up with a 5 stake base that ends up being about 6 feet tall. It's 5 stakes all the way up. I bought enough to do about 5 plants, and I am thinking about buying more! Are they perfect? No. They are bendy, but sturdy enough when assembled with stakes, connectors, brackets. They have fallen over in the wind several times, and I just pull it by the stake (I put bricks down to prevent that). Some of them are slight deformed, but none of it effects how they work ... very well.I bought 5 large size wire cages. And they are great except when the plant is younger. I tried using a step up process with smaller cages. The problem being, the plants grow fast and if you don't do it right away when it needs it, it's difficult to remove the cage without damaging the plant. Since this system can disassemble down to sticks, they can just pull right out. You can make a bigger one around the smaller one, and then just disassemble the smaller one on the inside.I have a system that uses Ram-Pro Loop Grip Clips to keep the stalks attached to a pole or bracket for support. I also use Gloryfox Tomato Plant hooks for support. They are springy and allow the branch to be away from the "cage". The system works great.

Hard to build.
Wasn't shipped the pieces to put the rods together. No couplers, no connectors. Received a box full of green rods and have no way to put them together. Hard to build. Great job!

Not Sturdy Enough for Tomato Plants
I purchased the K-Brands Tomato Cages for three one-gallon tomato plants transplanted into three large round planters. Here are my take-always.Pros:Well packagedEasy to assembleEasy to adjust for heightFairly uniform part sizesCons:Not sturdy enough for tomato plants as they growConnectors come apart as growing plants put pressure on themStakes warp and bend from the weight of the plantsWhile the idea is good, these stakes are severely inadequate to use with tomato plants. They worked well in the early stages of growth, but once the plants became heavier and started spreading, the weakness of theK-Brands Tomato Cages became very apparent. See the attached photos.Edit: So, after more time I’ve come to realize that, while these cages are inadequate for indeterminate tomato varieties, they seem to work fine with determinate varieties. You can find the difference on Google. In addition, they seem to work well with vining vegetables like peas, cucumbers and the like, so long as the plants aren’t too heavy. I’ve also upgraded my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars for that reason.

Well made tomato cage!
I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of these tomato cages! The design is customizable, which is a fantastic feature—it allows you to adjust the height, whether you need them short or tall, depending on your plants’ needs. The cages feel very sturdy, providing excellent support for my tomatoes as they grow. I also appreciate the green color; it blends seamlessly into the garden and looks natural. Overall, this is a well-made and versatile product that I would highly recommend to any gardener!
