This filter is so neatly designed, beautifully assembled, and holds even the finest grounds from getting into the pot. It is so easily cleaned (by hand; can’t comment on dishwasher cleaning) that it looks brand new after a week of use. The pieces of stainless filter are spot-welded very well, but I would recommend treating it gently, as the spots are tiny. There is a photo of one that failed in another review, and that was my biggest fear when I opened the package, that it could happen. If it does fail, I’ll write another review. If it lasts a long time, I’ll update you. The packaging is genius: two plastic cups that snap together with the filter inside, and then taped so as to stay together in shipment. I bought two, and one is still in the package. If it looks like it won’t fail, I’ll consider gifting the second.Today’s photo (4/29): on the left is the filter after 108 days (one pot per day), on the right is my brand new spare. I guess someday I may need to retire the first filter, but for now I’m still very happy. Daily washing is enough, but still coffee oils stick to the stainless. When it looks a bit dark, wipe with isopropyl alcohol and the coffee stains are gone. If coffee grounds do get stuck in the tiny holes, a brush with short fine bristles will clean it perfectly. (Treat it nicely and it’ll hold up well, I’m sure!)

Basket is higher sided than our paper filters! Less overflow and grinds into our pot. Easy wash and I like it better than the mesh sided ones I purchased before. Rinse it and into the dishwasher to remove all coffee oil!

I bought this reusable filter because I was having an issue with the water overflowing the top edge of the paper filters, which caused grounds in the brewed coffee and was making a mess. Maybe I should have tried other paper filters that had a better flow, but being a lazy sort I thought it would be better to buy this reusable filter because it has larger openings which would allow a better flow of brewed coffee into the pot. i was right about that. The brewing coffee no longer overflows, and the taste is very good. No issues there.The downside of having larger openings for the brewed coffee to flow through is that the really fine particles of coffee also flow through the holes into the pot, leaving a fine "sludge" in the bottom of the pot and sometimes in my cup. Kinda gross, but oh well. Not a deal breaker.Another downside is that instead of just picking up the paper coffee filter and all the grounds and tossing it in the trash, I now have to dump the grounds from the reusable filter into the trash, then wash and dry the darn thing to get it read for next time ... and then wash the grounds out of the sink. And its not just a simple rinse. I use a toothbrush and dish soap to scrub the coffee residue off the top 1/2 inch of the filter rim.OK, in all fairness the cleanup goes pretty quickly and is not a big deal at all, but it IS more work than just chucking the filter and grounds in the trash. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this product and will continue to use it. It seems to be really well made and the stainless steel has a quality feel to it.

This filter works great and is very sturdy. I am very pleased with this filter. The cost was more than most other filters, but I believe it will last much longer than most others.

Love this thing. It's very thin and light. I wouldn't want to pack this for camping but for the house it's perfect. Works good small holes let only a small bit of powdered beans through. The flow is fast enough doesn't take forever. Easy to clean doesn't get all gross and strained like the plastic ones. Doesn't degrade fast like the plastic ones either. No paper mess no paper taste either. When this one is toast I'll reorder another one just like it.

El producto es de buena calidad y funciona bien para lo que está hecho; sin embargo la cafetera la tuve que regresar porque se descompuso, por lo tanto el filtro ya no lo uso; porque la que adquirí uso otro tipo de filtro. Resumen: funciona bien y es de buena calidad.

Se ve súper cerrada la malla, pero aún así pasa polvito de café. Lo peor es el tamaño que no le quedó exactamente a mi cafetera, a pesar de estar en la lista de modelos compatibles. Si bien si entra y es utilizable, la cafetera se debe quedar semi-abierta (perdiendo mucho de su vapor) y hace que se vea fea.

This is a great coffee filter. It works well and it’s easy to clean. No more bleached paper filters. Coffee taste so much better using this filter.

Purchased as a replacement for Ninja Coffee Bar filter no longer available in UK. Like that it’s robust, hopefully will outlast original! Not quite the perfect fit but works as hoped for!
