- OUR LEATHER comes from a 6th generation tannery in the Italian Alps just outside of Venice, Italy. It is 2.2mm thick, oil tanned and uses unbranded, humanely treated English cows. What this means is that it is the highest quality leather in the world, it is soft and flexible and will last for many generations.
- OUR PAPER: We use Arches Text Wove paper in all of our books. It is 120gsm, 100% cotton rag and a multi use artist paper good for all mediums and especially watercolor washes. Arches mills were founded in 1492. They are considered to be among the longest lasting and best papers made in the world so your thots and ideas, drawing and scribbles will last for many generations as your legacy and a gift to your heirs.
