ReebokMen's Rapid Response Rb Safety Toe 8" Stealth Boot with Side Zipper Military & Tactical

NICE
These are nice solid boots. They are true to size but are a BIG boot. Not your 59 dollar flimsy junk. They are thick , heavy duty boot. Very comfy and finally a normal sized toe box. Most shoes now made in China are smaller then sized . Only slight set back is they are a little bit harder to put on then most I have worn . But the comfort and fit once wearing makes up for it . Also the tounge of the boot could be a little thiner . If you have been buying the 59 dollar ones treat yourself to these you will be glad you did .

Very Nice (Unless You Have Narrow Feet); There's A Good Reason Why These Do Not Have Steel Toes!
These boots are really, really nice and very comfortable. I wasn't sure if I would like the side zipper, but it works well. The "pull-on" loop on the back is helpful. But if you have narrow feet you will find your feet swim in the forefoot unless you "pad" with additional (or thick) socks. If Reebok would make a "narrow" version (these "medium width" boots felt very much like "wide" boots), then we would have a SIX-star review. I've found that the 5.11 Men's Taclite 8" Boot is a better fit for my narrow feet (they are equally as comfortable, but lack the zipper). Size of these Reebok boots is about 1/2 size big (I wear size 11, but needed a 10.5 in the Reeboks (the 5.11 Taclite boots ran true: I wear 11 and the boots were an 11)).The zipper makes all the difference in what boot lace-up system is used. You'll note that the 5.11 Taclite boots use eyelets in the fabric while the Reeboks use plastic eyelets. If the Reeboks didn't have the zipper I would not ever touch them because the plastic eyelets are a highly possible point of failure. Given that most will lace up the Rebooks and leave them laced (using the zipper to take off and put on the boot) this is not too much of an issue (ergo, no plastic eyelets on the 5.11 Taclite boots). One other observation. Reviewers have complained that there is no steel toe but that the boots are advertised as safety boots. This is neither misleading nor incorrect. Yes, they are safety boots and yes they do not have a steel toe. But the product literature tells you that Reebok chose to not use steel so that there would be no issue with metal detectors, etc. In any event, the toe may not be steel, but it still seems to offer significant protection. In the end, if you're a lumberjack or the like and need real steel toe protection then these are not the boots for you. But if you are a soldier (etc.) these are perfect boots (and as a former armored vehicle crewman I can tell you not having steel toes is a plus: I remember having a pair of steel-toed boots and they helped my feet to freeze in the winter and roast in the summer).Reebok has done really, really well in these boots. If only they would make a narrow foot version!

Very light
I have worn these boots for decades, since before Reebok bought them from Converse Work Wear. They are light and comfy. The glue on the soles give out in about 3 years now that they are made in china.

2nd pair
I will continue buying these boots. The most comfortable boots with safety toes, and last a good while considering I’m in construction. The zipper makes it so you don’t have to lace up/lace down, so they’re technically slip offs. The only thing is, they are not waterproof, so you’ll need a pair of backups for when it rains, which I’m fine with that. Still, well worth the price

I have three pairs
That I have three pairs, work hard, duty, and spare pair, says it all. The work heads are ugly and scarred from protecting my feet. The duty’s are worn but acceptable for out and about. Unmatched by hundreds of my boot history for ascent, descent, impact, comfort, and overall performance. At 61, these bruisers make me feel 50 again whether I’m doing tree work, ditch digging, or most importantly walking the dogs.

Good boot for the price.
I got these to wear for riding my motorcycle i the summer. For fit I used the Amazon fit guide. I normally wear an 11M and ordered a 10.5 M. Fit is fine and plenty of room in the toe box.Pluses: Relatively lightweight, side zipper (I wanted laces but didn't want to have to lace them every time I wore them), have a wicking lining (so far my feet haven't sweat in them), removable foot bed (came in handy), comfortable (with a modification.)Minuses: Construction looks pretty cheap (lots of exposed edges inside the boot, just doesn't give a lot of confidence on how long the boot will last), no arch support whatsoever (that where the removable insole came in handy, replaced them with Superfeet insoles I had and they feel much better.)For the most part they'll only see use when I ride, so they won't see a lot of wear and tear. If they last 4-5 years in that situation I'll be happy with them. Price paid was $90.

Zipper vs Tieing Laces - Zipper Wins
I like the color, fit, and ease of putting these on. Usually I get sore spots on my ankles but tha was not the case with these. Break-in time was about 1 1/2 weeks. I love these and would buy them again.

Great boots very comfortable
Great boots very comfortable. Almost no break in time. Could be more breathable as a desert boot. Some tan dye has leached off the zipper area tho does not stain socks. Zippered side is very convenient

Great boots!
Great boot, wrong size ordered but fast and hassle free replacement sent out quickly. The boots are excellent quality and are very comfortable. Only drawback, the sole gets clogged very quickly

Composite Toe it is not.
Bought these specifically for the composite toe as listed in the description. Paid $200 AUD for a workboot I can't use because it doesn't meet industry regulations.
