Powerful steamer that makes wrinkle removal effortless
This Conair Turbo ExtremeSteam garment steamer has been a game changer for keeping my clothes wrinkle-free without the hassle of ironing. The 1875W motor heats up quickly and produces a powerful, penetrating steam that smooths out even stubborn wrinkles in minutes. The handheld design makes it easy to use on hanging clothes, curtains, and upholstery. I love how lightweight and portable it is, making it perfect for travel or quick touch-ups before heading out. The steam output is consistent and strong, and it works great on a variety of fabrics from delicate blouses to heavy dress shirts.

Not as good as an actual iron or dry cleaners but excellent for "I made an effort" casual
This steamer won't create a freshly ironed/straight from the dry cleaner 100% wrinkle free effect, but does an excellent job for day to day, 'I made an effort' look. It depends on the fabric... I ordered this for next day delivery after I realized a shirt (synthetic fibers) I wanted to wear to an event the next night had fallen off the hanger and had been sitting and gathering wrinkles. Usually I wash on gentle in a garment bag, and if I hang it to dry immediately, gravity takes the wrinkles out. I didn't have enough time to do this and still have time for it to dry completely. For a lightweight poly/cotton blend, the steamer did take out every single wrinkle. While it was hot, I tried it on another lightweight 100% cotton shirt I usually dry clean, and it took out 'most' of the wrinkles, or took it to from a point of not wanting to be seen in public with it, to it being acceptable (kind of the same state as though it had been ironed, but had been worn for a few hours). I then tried it on a pretty thickly woven 100% linen tunic that I usually dry clean but had tried to wash and hang by hand to save money. Before I got the steamer, I was about to resort to taking it to the dry cleaners, but.... the steamer did struggle a bit, but after several minutes it did become 'has been worn for a few hours' wrinkly vs creased all over with wrinkles. If I had spent a lot more time and used more finesse with it, I likely might have been able to get all the wrinkles out, but I decided this one may be one to just keep taking to the cleaner. In sum, for some synthetics or synthetic blends, it's great. For more naturally prone to wrinkle fibers, it is great for a more casual and presentable, 'I didn't just pulled this off of the floor' look. I wouldn't count on it for a more formal or crisp look for say, job interviews. Plan ahead and drag out the ironing board or take it to a dry cleaners instead. H However, If you are like me and can't stand ironing or, if you don't want to continue to spend an arm and a leg at the dry cleaner for less formal wear that could really be washed on gentle cycles and hung to dry and be fine with a quick but not perfectly crisp de-wrinkling, this is a great investment. Aside, it does heat up pretty quickly. If you give it a good couple of minutes rather than the 40 seconds the instructions say, it will be more effective. The whole to fill up the water is a bit small and awkward, but do-able with a little creativity. I didn't have distilled water on hand, but tap water in my area isn't that hard, so I'm not going to bother with buying jugs of distilled water from the store. If you are constantly struggling with lime and calcium residue in your bathroom, ya, I'd get distilled water, but if your build up is very minimal... up to you.

Powerful Steamer That Works Fast and Gets the Job Done
I picked up the Conair Turbo Extreme Steam handheld fabric steamer as an alternative to ironing, and it’s been a really useful tool so far. It heats up quickly in about 40 seconds so you don’t have to wait long to start using it. The steam output is strong thanks to the 1875-watt power, and it does a good job removing wrinkles from shirts, pants, and even thicker fabrics. I’ve used it on hanging clothes and it’s much more convenient than setting up an ironing board. I also like the included attachments. The brush and fabric guide help smooth things out, and the built-in plate can act a bit like an iron for sharper results. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s slightly heavier than smaller travel steamers, but that’s expected with the extra power. Overall, this is a great option if you want a fast, powerful steamer that can handle everyday clothes and even tougher wrinkles without much effort. Not to mention easy to store away anywhere

Releases the wrinkles
Bought this for my son as a gift and he’s very pleased with its quality and performance. It’s portable and works with releasing the wrinkles from his clothing. He also uses it to freshen up his mattress and cloth sofas.

Not as strong a steam output as I expected.
I ordered this steamer specifically to block my hand knitted items. It's very sturdy, well-made, fairly well-designed, the instruction sheet is clear and easy to follow, HOWEVER, even with the steam setting at the highest (five red lights) there doesn't seem to be enough steam to penetrate the fabric (mostly about worsted weight yarn). And the steam is intermittent stopping every few seconds. I wonder if this is usual or if something is not working correctly. I followed all instructions explicitly. I can't find any trouble shooting information. Not sure I'll keep it. UPDATE I went back and found the review where a user related verbal instructions she got from support about priming the steamer. I refilled it, did as she said, and VOILA! It worked perfectly. I steamed a 9" x 66" knitted scarf without it ever stopping steam emission, and only used half of the water in the full reservoir. The force of the steam is still not as much as I would like, but holding the steamer head barely touching the surface, moving constantly, I think it will be fine. There is what I would call a design flaw in the control buttons being directly under the steam head so you must be VERY careful not to get steam in your face when trying to look at them! They should be on the SIDE or BACK of the steamer! Maybe when they update it. Here' are the directions to prime: She said plug it in, turn it on, and when heated, press the steam button and turn the steamer over for 45 seconds, then upright for 15 seconds and repeat up to 5 times, until a clicking sound is heard-all the while keeping the steam button compressed. I hope this helps others!

Great for Upholstery Cleaning
Very powerful steamer and surprisingly I liked it even more for cleaning upholstery than for steaming clothes. It works really well on sofas, fabric chairs and other upholstered surfaces, helping refresh and sanitize fabrics easily. Still good for clothes too, but for me the biggest surprise was how useful it became for home cleaning.

Not clear on the directions on how to use
My wife wanted one of these portable steamers to take on our vacation. She settled on this. I could not figure this out at first but finally got the hang of it. Follow the directions on filling the little water tank. Turn on (button on the bottom) and wait until the blue light stops blinking. Once it stops blinking, you will see the 5 levels (in red). I use only 3 so press the setting button until you see 3 red lights or to whatever level you like. What was confusing was the actual Steam button. I thought you had to hold the button while steaming but you don't. You press once for the steam to actually come out. Press again to have the steam stop. However, there is no indication that the actual steaming process is on. Yes, you have to turn it on using the power button but it will not steam until you press the Steam button. Also the instructions stating it takes 30 or 40 seconds to heat the water. It takes more like 1-2 minutes. Once it is heated, press the Steam button and the steam will come out (be careful as it burns). Then you can start steaming your clothing item. If you have a large clothing item or multiple items, the water tank will run out so you will need to refill. It will let you know that the water ran out once it starts making noise. I use the brush attachment which seems to help. Just make sure to attach it prior to turning on the unit because the face will get hot even if you have not press the Steam button. Overall, it does work. We used it multiple times so far and no issues. Just the first time trying to figure out as I did not know you have to press the Steam button once to actually have the steam come out. I thought you had to hold it. Also don't steam your clothing item against a door or wall. The steam will go through the clothing and may damage your door or wall. Also I believe you only should use it upright. It may not work if you are steaming horizontal. The steamer is a decent size so don't think it is small. Check the dimensions as it is pretty big but we should put it in our suitcase. I do recommend this. Let's see how durable it is.

Waste of money
An absolute waste of money. I switched it on and a blue light came on for a second and went off again. After repeatedly unplugging and plugging back in the steamer showed no sign of working and did not warm up. Extremely disappointed
