Pokemon: Comic Reader #1:Battle for the Bolt Badge Paperback – September 1, 2012

Oh my gosh my 7-year-old loves this book. It's so much fun. Set up like a comic book with extra large panels the story tells about a Pokemon battle. It became an instant favorite. I love how the crazy Pokemon names encourage the old "sound it out" reading skills.

My son loves Pokemon but hates reading, so I got him this book in the hopes that he'd read it. It's a short read but he enjoyed it, since he knew the story and the characters.

I wish there were more Pokemon books out there that aren't comic book versions. HARD to find. But my son loves everything Pokemon, so it was a hit!

I ordered the Pokemon books for my son's 9th birthday.This allows him to look up the Pokemon and see what they involve to and what their strenghts and weaknesses are. He loves this book!

Although the book was the correct size as shown and the pictures were of great quality, it was not in comic book form which is what I thought it would be. Ok for the price though.

My daughter got to read this instead of seeing it on TV - which I thought was great.

This is another good read for the Pokémon enthusiast. It gets the kids reading about something they are interested in.
