Tunnock's Milk Chocolate Tea Cakes 36 x 24g (36 x 24g)

Package arrived early. Was well wrapped. Was very pleased in item both in quality, packaging,delivery. Thank you very much.

A friend brought back these teacakes from Scotland for me and I was immediately addicted so I knew I had to get my hands on my own- these tea cakes are absolutely DELISH and are exactly like the ones my friend gave me from abroad, not too sweet and wonderful when frozen! I ordered a box of 36 and have already eaten more than half myself, they're also packed in boxes of 6 so they're a cute gift to give to friends and family! A few of then did arrive a tad bit smushed but the majority are in perfect shape and not melted; all of mine were also fresh as they had an expiration date of Dec 2025. On my way to order some more now :)

I don’t recall where I saw the recommendation to try these, and found them on Amazon. Each item is individually foil wrapped, and one must take care in handling, as they are super soft. These are delicious, and should be taken in small bites. There is a super thin outside chocolate skin, just enough there to provide the slightest crunch. This coating covers an airy cream filling (they call it ‘marshmellow’ and it is so much better than the dry stuff we find here) atop a light cookie almost wafer. Highly recommend, and this order comes with multiple boxes, with six candies in each box — enough that you would feel good about making gifts to your closest friends.

Quality is excellent

The tea cakes are not packaged correctly and smashed during delivery and shipping. They should have a hard cardboard in between each layer out of 36 tea cakes. Only five of them were worth serving at my Tea Party. The taste, of course is still fantastic but such a waste of money.

As an Englishman living in the USA, these teacakes have a special place in my heart. The only thing better would be if I could find the ones with jam in the middle too! The teacakes arrived in the time window promised, but unfortunately the top layer was crushed so the packing could use some work and I removed a star for that, not for the flavour. Lucky for me I intended to scoff the whole lot myself, so having a third of the box looking a bit sorry for themselves didn't matter a great deal, but if I'd planned to use them at a party or something it would have been a big disappointment.

Box and inner boxes are in good shape. The cakes are smashed. These were going to be a gift..
