Great and easy to carry
Great anchor bag to have, it packs down small for smaller PWC and holds my Seadoo Spark in place. I usually anchor with a rock due to the shore I usually moor on but it keeps it where I leave it very well.

better then I expected
Only used it the once so far at the dam, filled it up with gravel and it worked very well. Mate was using an anchor on his ski and his kept on dragging towards mine. Held very well, even when other boats/skis came in to shore and were causing lots of wash the bag anchor held fine. Probably would have prefered a SSteel clip to hook on to ski but the plastic one fitted looks fine and hopefully will do the trick for a long time coming. Only gripe for me was the drawstring could be a bit more sturdy and secure. I had to move the ski a few times due to my mates ski dragging over and I lost a bit of gravel as the top of the bag opened up a few times. I would still prefer to use my cooper anchor in sand or mud, but where the bed is very hard or rocky the bag anchor seems the way to go. Update, have used it a few times now I only use it at the dam as the bottom is very rocky and no good for the anchor I have. Works great and to fix the problem of gravel spilling out I put an old t shirt over the top of the gravel before I draw the bag tight and that takes care of that problem.

PERFECT!
Theres nothing more annoying than trying to dig a metal anchor into the sand and then having it come loose and seeing your inflatable or jet ski slowly drift away...well not anymore! This anchor is so great because you just fill it up and drop it in the water! No need to worry about kids stepping on a sharp anchor, or having to secure it in the sand. This holds our lily pad and/or jet ski in the lake (as long as its not super wavy out). Then when you're done just dump the sand out in the water. Great product, great price, very easy to use!

Great sand anchor for a jet ski
Works really well. Fill with sand then clip to bow hook of jet ski in 3-4 feet of water. Jet ski doesn’t get pounded by waves on beach. Also very easy to empty and fold up for storage.

Better than I thought
I recently took my PWC down to the Gulf of Mexico for a week and used these extensively. The Good: 1. They fold up and require very little room in the storage compartment of the PWC. I'd say the size of a softball fully when stored empty. 2. The hook seems durable enough to get a few seasons out of it. Looks easy to replace, but I can see it failing after a while. 3. Ample length of rope to tie down. I used it on a sandbar with approx 2ft. depth and had plenty of rope. The Bad: No numbering here, the only bad part is that the drawstrings tend to come open unless you securely tie them off in a knot. If using rocks or other bulky ballast not an issue, but sand tends to "drift" out in the current and then gets light enough to allow the PWC to drift. Common sense is required here too, obviously there is no hook like traditional anchors so if your in rough seas or lakes they WILL drift... Worth the price and I would recommend as long as you're ok with still keeping an eye on them for when they do drift.

Great sandbag anchor
The bag is durable and has held up to rocks and sand well. It cinches closed and has worked great to weigh down my jetski. The rope and plastic clip are durable, and the float keeps the hook readily available so I can leave the anchor in the water when not in use. The whole thing folds up nicely for storage as well.

Not good when there are waves
This is a sturdy and well-made product, but will not stay in place when there are waves. I bought this for my Sevylor Inflatable Island and it was able to hold it fairly well. However, once the wind kicked up and the lake became more choppy, even with one person on the island, it quickly was dragged away.

I have 9 years of experience with these - good anchors - but a common failure point to be aware of!
I've attached a video here to get into details and show you the common, repeated failure point that I have experienced in nine years of using these sand anchors, so I would suggest checking out the video. Rather than trying to rehash everything I've said and illustrated in that vid, let me just leave you with a few thoughts here. I really like these anchors. I get a good amount of use out of them before they ultimately fail. I am now on my fifth sand anchor as the previous one that I show in the video has failed. I've actually just ordered another as a backup as well, so that makes six of these for me. Here's the bottom line - there is a common failure point of the nylon webbing that connects the rope to the anchor - all four of my previous anchors have had this connection ultimately fail. I get almost two seasons or so out of these, and then that nylon webbing tears and the anchor meets my garbage can. With that said, I always examine the anchors before each use, and I have never had one fail while in the water. If I didn't like these anchors, I would never have given them four stars. I recognize that there is going to be some amount of a service life with this type of setup, and clearly, I have identified that service life for my particular usage. Doing the math - six of these over nine years, with costs ranging from as low as $15 to as high as $23 for this latest order, and I've spent around $113 over the course of those nine years. One could strongly argue that the current price of $23 is out of line, and I would not disagree - they need to get that cost down. The average cost for these in my case has been about $18.50 each - that seems like a more reasonable price. So as to the four-star review - I do like these anchors and they have held up well enough to make me happy. But, ONE COULD MAKE A STRONG ARGUMENT for only giving these anchors a three-star review given the repeated failure point. Perhaps if the company is seeing/reading my review, they can take action with a materials improvement to prevent the failure from occurring by making that connection more durable. As I mentioned in my video, if it were not for that failure point, I think I could get four or five seasons out of these anchors.

Seems to work pretty good for a 3 seater jet ski. Put a cinder block half in instead of sand. We’ll see how it holds up to windy conditions

Love this! Brought it to Jamaica and tied 2 floaties and left it in the water every day we were at the beach. It held in place all day even with us jumping on and off the floaties. Make sure you use wet sand and tie the hole tightly so no sand can escape. Plan on using it at the beach this summer

Does the job. Be aware that the clip is very hard to open and doesn't fit through all anchor slots (had to untie it and rig it up ). Other than that,it works perfectly!
