Phew! For a while we thought these were faulty on our twin daughters’ birthday. Unwrapped, opened, used straight away. Uh-oh? Why isn’t the delete button working? Cue panic, irritation, anger, frantic search for small screw driver to undo the worlds smallest screw to check the battery, before a new search for alternative products for same day delivery, re-reading of product reviews to understand how we could have been duped into buying something that doesn’t work, looking at other products to compare and then: BINGO! You have to use the switch on the side which prevents accidental deletion! Don’t make the same mistake we did. Ours DO work. The product photos do make them appear brighter than they are but the rainbow colours are clearly distinguishable and our two 8 y/o daughters could immediately use them as soon as they were unwrapped. They are lightweight and a good price - I’m actually thinking of buying one for myself to doodle on as I find it so relaxing. Highly recommended :-)

One of my friends had it and I really liked it, so decided to get one for us. And I must say this one in particular is really good, the quality is superb, the way it erases everything by a click of the button, is great, it has a lock button too. I can use it to make reminder notes, shopping list etc and my little ones love drawing and playing games on it.

The media could not be loaded.  I wasn't exactly sure what to expect from this! But it works really well, kind of like a modern hi tech etch a sketch! You can use the pen supplied or any dull pointed object like a blunt pencil will work, no need to worry about losing the pen! The colours are quite vivid and bright even in low light. Great present for kids who love to draw!

I have not looked properly at this item we have brought but the screen is not very bright at all is this normal it is dificult to see, Is there a way of making it brighter?

The media could not be loaded.  I did not buy this with the intention of it turning into a toy for the children but they love it so much I've not really been able to use it for the notes I was planning on doing yet. It's been great seeing them drawing and getting more creative. The device came with one pen attached to the device and a spare in the box, but the pen is not actually even needed. Our two kids have been having great success using the end of a finger, a little bit of pressure or a finger nail for finer details, in their sketching, and they're really loving the instant response of the erase button. After the first few times I spent ages on a sketch only for a little sticky fingers to sneak in and erase the picture with an evil cackle led me to discover the 'lock switch' on the rear which locks-out the erase button and stops you losing your notes and pics, very handy! It comes with a felt pouch with a popper on too, however we've not actually needed to use the pouch yet as we've been keeping it out and using it.

Bought this drawing tablet for my sun to practice drawing and he absolutely loves it. It is lightweight and very responsive to when you come to draw on it. Can be easily wiped off and started again with a click of a button. Im happy overall. It’s a shame you can’t save the drawings anywhere to view later, that’s a downside

Do you remember those boards with the magnetic dust in it that you would 'write' on with a magnet pen when you were little? It's like that but it's 'sticking' the screen to a colorful background when you write. If that is what you are looking for then great! It's like a slightly more 'techy' version of those because it has colors, but very few kids over the age of 6 will appreciate this. Otherwise, it's really really not worth it.. actually, It's not worth the time you spent reading this comment. It's not worth the time I am spending writing it, but I have never gone from excited in anticipation to disappointed and sad so quickly. I recommend to ignore this product and continue shopping unless you know exactly what it is you are purchasing and it's exactly what you are looking for (e.g. board for shopping lists on the fridge, or for a toddler). If you are brave enough (or foolish enough) to ignore my warning, good luck to you.

My 2 year old son loves this little doodle pad, very easy to use , he loves to scribble and press the button for it to get erased (his favourite part!!) There is a lock on the side of the pad, once locked it means that even though you press the button the board isnt wiped (took me a few minutes to figure that out lol) If you lose the pen its not matter as the pad can be used with any blunt item so thats great as well!!. Different sections of the pad once drawn on is a different color, so even though you dont have different colour pens its designed such that there is no need for it.Very lightweight and hours of fun for the little one. When my son isnt using it you can use it for lists and and to do's so its practical for all ages.
