My teeth aren't particularly stained or discoloured, so maybe it's going to be more difficult for me to notice a change! But I didn't notice an instant brightness, though the toothpaste does clean well and my teeth fee super clean. It tastes OK too.

It's a compact sized tube- the effect after 3 days is that whilst as yet it's hard to gauge the whitening effect it really has begun a terrific dentist like surface clean and so far I am very pleased/ using it with the Phillips electric toothbrush on the whitening mode.

I have been using this toothpaste for a few weeks now and I have to say I can't spot any discernible difference to the whiteness of my teeth. Also, after using it for a while, it's left a very saccharine taste in my mouth. Not very pleasant.

I have never used the original version of this toothpaste so cannot compare the two. It involves blue light pigments which are supposed to make your teeth look whiter albeit the effect is temporary. I have been using this stuff every day for three weeks now and to be honest I have seen very little difference in the colour of my teeth. What I have noted is the ability of the blue stuff in the toothpaste to stain anything it comes in contact with - white marble vanity top, white towels, beige towels, clothing, toothbrush bristles, the plastic on the handle of my electric toothbrush, a lovely rim of blue under the brush head holder on my toothbrush re-charging stand which has permanently stained the polished limestone shelf on which it sits - this stuff is pernicious! On the positive side, unlike some whitening toothpastes this one is not abrasive and hasn't led to any sensitivity. Having said that, I won't buy another of these but will stick with my usual Sensodyne whitening toothpaste which is gentle, has results at least as good and doesn't stain everything in sight.

I tried a cheaper version of this, and it failed to give any noticeable whitening. This "gold" edition DOES actually work though; leaves your teeth looking instantly white. It does stain everything blue however, so watch your clothes and don't wipe your mouth on a white towel!!

Ok, so firstly I can honestly say that I havent really noticed a great deal of difference using this toothpaste (which I can say for all whitening toothpastes) - they just don't seem to work that I can tell.On the packaging it confirms that the whitening effect is "purely optical" (I read this to mean it isnt actually whitening your teeth - more covering it in blue goo to make them look whiter).As a toothpaste it tastes fresh and minty as you would expect.. The paste itself is a bit odd with the standard "Gel" bits and a deep blue "core" which looks odd sitting in the paste itself. Makes a lovely blue foam when used!At £5.50 for a tube I probably wouldnt bother if you are looking for some magical whitening solution - I suspect this is aimed at teeth which are already white and want another shade of brightness?

This is a crazy toothpaste, I've never used anything quite like it before. I've used whitening toothpastes but not like this!This is a semi-clear coloured toothpaste with vey dark blue, dense streaks in it which once you brush, the foam in your mouth is vivid blue, your teeth look blue and is quite satisfying as you brush as it really foams and makes your mouth feel very clean.Once you've spat and rinsed it does seem to leave your tongue tainted blue for a while and it's also stained my toothbrush bristles bright blue which I was quite surprised at! It does however leave your teeth temporarily gleaming and shiny and fairly white, it's not a lasting effect but they definitely feel the cleanest my teeth have felt.Fairly expensive at the moment and fun to use but not a lasting whitening effect in my opinion but temporarily teeth look amazing and gleaming! Great quick fix!
