Maple Landmark wooden Earth Yo-Yo

First of all I have to say that I love anything made from real wood and anything that is made by hand. I think those two things are being lost in a lot of things that are made nowadays. I really enjoy this yo-yo. I very much doubt that it could really be used for a lot of tricks or anything, but for someone who just wants a cool looking simple yo-yo, this is the item for you. One consequence of it being handmade though is that it appears that one side of the yo-yo is slightly larger than the other. This may not be the case for all of them though. In short, this yo-yo is beautiful and I would not hesitate to give it as a gift to anyone.

This is a solid yo-yo of good quality and I'm giving it as a gift more for sentiment and decoration than effective yo-yoing. It worked fine when we gave it a few twirls, but I don't think it will thrill a true, modern yo-yo enthusiast (if there are any enthusiast out there). It makes a great stocking stuffer for any age and I would purchase it again if I had a reason to buy more.

This is a good solid wooden yoyo. After 5 months, it is still working as well as day one (we have the plain one and the "earth"(. It is balanced and even and the string is still working well. This yoyo is far preferred over several others in the house, some which we paid twice as much for.

For the price, I expected this yo-yo to be good quality, but it always pulls to one side, and the painted earth was slightly off center.

Very well-made, solid, simple-to-use yo-yo. THe "earth" on the one I got looks nothing like the earth - just a smear of colors - but that's not why I bought it. My granddaughter (age 7) loves it.

Great stocking stuffers. My kids not only loved the Earth painted insignia, they felt this "old fashioned" yo yo performed better than their more expensive plastic/ball bearing ones. Looks like old technology prevails again! Very sturdy construction yields quality performance.

I love the picture of the world on the side. I gave this yo-yo as a gift to people that mean the world to me. The Yo-yo is so smooth and fast, but, most importantly, it's made out of wood. I think having a part of nature within all of us, or with us, is always fun. Anyways, i'm very satasfied with this and I highly recommend everyone to buy one. YES, EVERYONE!
