When I ordered this, I was looking for glow in the dark powder. Either I didn't read the description well, or I skimmed past it. But after receiving it, I came back to read it, and it does say UV powder... but in the actual title, it says GLOW IN THE DARK. Well, this does NOT glow in the dark AT ALL, so a point off for a misleading title.That said, this is a good value for UV powder if you need it. It is beautifully packaged, exactly as you see, with a cute storage box. I'm glad to have a UV pigment set on hand anyway, and there's a good amount in the bottles (what looks like 8 1oz container sizes). Despite this not being what I wanted, I have no regrets ordering it. If you are looking for a UV light powder, this is a great buy.

First off, for those complaining that these pigments don't glow in the dark, they are not meant to. UV reactive is different from glow-in-the-dark. I purchased these to make resin jewelry that would glow under a black light. As you can see from my photos, the pigments glow quite well and beautifully. I love the colors!My only complaint is that it's very difficult to mix them well. I add a few scoops of powder to a cup with a small amount of resin and stir for 5 minutes before adding in the full amount of resin. This can get time consuming when working with multiple colors. Even with all that mixing, I'm left with unmixed bits in my finished work that settle to the bottom of my molds, which ends up being the front of my finished piece. You can see the sediment on my green ghost. I plan on trying to use less pigment in my future pieces, so hopefully that will make a difference. I'll update my review if I figure out a workaround!

Under artificial light the colors are clean but under daylight (which has ultraviolet light in it) these pigments glow and under only ultraviolet light they really pop. However, unlike the first description under the pricing “Multifunctional black light powder: These glow in the dark pigment(s)”, these pigments Do Not glow in the dark, they only really glow when exposed to ultraviolet light.

Don't listen to the silly people who gave negative reviews because this "Neon UV Glow Powder" dry pigment dye doesn't glow without UV exposure, that is so unfair.First of all, even without a UV light source, the dye is bright both in dry and reconstituted forms, but when put under a black light these dyes do in fact brightly glow as promised.Absolutely a 5 star product.The first 2 photos were reconstituted dye dropped on the mini and allowed to flow through the recessed areas, and the 3rd photos is sprinkling the dried pigment onto a tacky black acrylic painted surface.

Make use you mix the pigment well. Electric mixer recommended, other then that great product

These colors are great. When the black light is on you can see the colors in the resin projects I have currently made. I am happy with this purchase.

The fluorescent colors are excellent. The description says for use in making plastics and rubber. We did not use it for that. We did home science experiments. For that use, it did not mix well with ANYTHING commonly available at home or common art or science kits. We were still able to do all the projects we wanted, just poorly mixed. Anyway, that's not what it is advertised for so can't blame the manufacturers. Full marks on brilliant fluorescent colors.

I used this product to add a little wow factor to my candle line. Amd boy did it!!! Not only does a little of this powder go a long way, the price ia very reasonable. It comes with a little scooper that is perfect for the size canister. If mixing wiyh wax i would recommend using a little oil or as I used, Shea butter to mix the powder or it will clump up or leave sediment on the bottom of the mixing pitcher amd will not mix completely. Other than that this product has far exceeded my expectations. Will buy again.
