High quality.. Finally a good Sensor Soap!
First of all, It arrived protected in very nice premium box. U can tell it’s already quality there.Product is really high quality, no question! The way it charges and its waterproof and how it refills, love it. Underneath you can see how much u have leftover dish or hand soap. Premium feeling, it’s definitely what you pay for it.I bought to products, one for dish and hand soap. As u can see, I marked down with a piece of paper which one is which. Its works really great and fast respond. Why I posted picture next to the my trash can. Its same brand SimpleHuman. Had it over a year with no complains, works like a new still. I like white because u can’t see stains. I wanted to match to my trash can my dish sensor soap. Why I posted next to the my trash can is. I wish if that glossy cap is brushed material, as its on my trash can. Because it might get scratch or dirty easily. But its still good, its a sensor, its spoused to stay still and not spoused to touch anything. Love it

Very easy to charge and refill
Among all dispensers that I have bought, this is my favorite for these reasons:1. Charging is so convenient. You don't have to open a lid or unscrew anything. The magnetic port is accessible and it's in a convenient, accessible spot.2. Replenishing the soap is also very convenient. Just open the top lid and pour away.3. It doesn't get messy or covered with soap scum after having done a lot of refilling because of the way it is designed.4. It's also easy to clean because the design is simple/minimalistic.5. It looks sleek and elegant. I never got tired of the way it looks. My only complaint about the product is the sensor is too sensitive. Sometimes, when I put something, e.g. a small bottle, right next to it. It triggers the sensor. Nevertheless, I would prefer "over-sensitive" to "under-sensitive" when it comes to soap dispensers.

absolute garbage
I have purchased three of these over the years, as I love the concept, and my previous experience with Simplehuman products was excellent. The Touch-free rechargeable liquid soap dispenser pump has an extremely short life, less than a year for all three that I purchased. Simplehuman will give you the runaround when you contact them, asking you to troubleshoot, send videos, send proof of purchase, etc. When I finally got them to agree to replace one, they told me to throw the old one away (hello landfill!). Then the replacement stopped working after five months, and they refused to stand by their product after much back and forth. Amazon just defers you to back Simplehuman.I heard you can buy this item at Costco for cheaper and they will take returns without hassle. Try that instead.

Sensor not consistent. I prefer the battery operated model.
Pros:Rechargeable (Too soon to know how long each charge lasts)Power Button (Item can be turned off when cleaning or refilling)Smooth top, easier to clean (No volume control buttons to get dust embedded around them)Smaller foot printCons:Smaller refill opening. I actually have to sit down and fill this up. It takes much longer.Auto sensor is erratic. I've yet to get the same amount twice, regardless of hand position. Dispenses much more than I would normally use each time, resulting in more refills, more irritation due to the small refill opening.Unable to see soap levelPlease note:This comes with a USB cord, but not a power brick, so you need to use an adapter or connect to a PC. Important to know if you are purchasing this for someone who does not use electronics.I've used simple human soap dispensers for years. I believe an automatic soap dispenser is essential to keeping down illness in the home. It doesn't have to be an expensive model like simple human, but get one where the sensor is at the top. The models/brands with the sensors at the bottom eventually burn out from getting wet.Originally we used bar soap, but we had to take in family members with 4 small children for a while, and they kept passing colds to each other, and eventually to the adults. After the kids washed their hands, the bar soap had swirls of dirt from not rinsing properly or rinsing the bar after using. I changed to liquid soap hand pumps, which helped reduce colds by 50+ percent, but once I went to an automatic dispenser, it almost completely eliminated them. No one had to touch the soap or the soap pump. Towels were cleaner also as the kids washed their hands better. This is my third simple human soap pump. Originally I had a large battery operated. When that stopped functioning I changed to the 8oz battery operated, as the larger model was no longer available. Lately it was getting to the point where we were having to change the batteries too often, which is a pain as there is no on off switch, and you have to invert the dispenser to change the batteries. So we went with the rechargeable. If I had to do it again, I'd get another battery operated dispenser. I could control the amount of soap dispensed, the refill opening was larger, I could see the amount of soap left, and one refill lasted about 2 weeks. It was a five star item. The new rechargeable dispenser has a smaller foot print, and is supposed to be 9 oz instead of 8 oz, but one refill lasted less than one week. The dispenser dispenses whatever it wants, regardless of how close or far your hand is to the dispenser sensor. The refill opening is deeper, and more narrow, so you have to pour the soap in slowly. It has a air hole to help let out displaced air, but what took 30 seconds to fill before, is now a 3-5 minute job. To save time I'd rather have the batteries.I knew going in that the contents wouldn't be visible, and didn't think it would be much of a liability, but basically you don't know you need soap until you run out. The soap comes out at an angle. and operation doesn't seem to be as smooth as the battery operated model I had. The soap dispenses with much more force than my previous model, so I'm hoping it means it can handle thicker soaps than the previous model. Anything other than clear hand soap would bog the older model down.I think the white finish will stand up against water spots better than the brushed stainless. The unfinished/uncovered charging port isn't as distracting on the white model as it is on the pictures of the other colors. To make this 5 stars it would need a volume control for the soap dispenser, preferably under the lid to keep the smooth easy clean top. Also a larger refill opening and a clear lower body to be able to determine the amount of soap left. I'd also like to see a taller dispenser that can hold at least 12-16 oz of soap.I'm not going to bother to return it but, IMO, it's not an improvement over the battery operated model and should probably be priced about $15-20 less than its retail price.

Spritz with Glitz!
This is probably the best looking, sleek & very functional liquid soap dispenser on the market today. The adjustments for the amount of soap to be dispensed is excellent. From a tiny amount to a nice large amount. It also is extremely attractive looking on your kitchen sink or wherever you will put it. It is a quality made unit and one of the best parts is that you don't have to keep up with changing batteries. Changing batteries can get costly. This unit has a very neat charger that comes with the unit. It has a magnet that adheres to the back of unit & charges via a USB port. Charges up in a few hours.I only had one complaint: The sensitivity of the unit is too sensitive. If the company would make the unit a little less sensitive to get the soap out, this soap dispenser would be an unbeatable item & I would have then given it a 5* overall rating.Needless to say, you will not be disappointed & very happy when you purchase this Soap Dispenser from Amazon!
