What I like: as advertised, this gives you a light switch you can control with Google Assistant and put on a schedule.What I didn't like (but could work around): Everyone one of the wifi switches/plugs I have bought recently wants you to install a new and separate app on your phone. Since I already have some plugs that use the Tuya app and this product listing had Tuya in the title, I thought that would help. In the instructions for this switch, it wants you to install an app called Jinvoo. But I found that could ignore this and set up the switch on the Tuya app instead and the Tuya app (in contrast to Jinvoo) did not complain about a missing Zigbee hub (which I don't have). With that done, I find it works great.Other thoughts: I have attached a picture of the back so that you can see the terminals, which include line, load, neutral, and ground.

Gave 3 stars since once setup it has been working as it should but there is room for improvement.No wiring instructions came with my unit (just instructions for app) so if you don't already know how to wire switches you will have a hard time. It's not hard, but people need instructions. People will be confused as many existing switches may only have two wires connected and the user will have connect to the other wires in the box properly. In many cases you will need to use a bridge wire.Unit is encased in plastic so it will not be grounded just by being screwed to the box so make sure you connect to ground. The unit is a bit thicker than standard switches which is not a problem if you use their plate, but if you put it on a switch where you need to use a different plate (3 switches in my box) then it becomes an issue. I used a flexible soft plate to make everything fit well as a standard plastic plate will have a hard time flexing to not leave gaps.I don't like the switch's color scheme. Seeing RED when something is on usually means a bad thing. Going from blue to green would be much better and maybe save red for a wiring fault / bad network strength detection or something.Using the Tuya app with it and it has worked flawlessly from that standpoint along with the other devices I have. Integrated with Alexa without an issue.

My order was quoted 15 to 40 days for shipping however, I received it in 4 days, shipped from Useelink not Amazon. it took about 5 minutes to read the manual on how to program and activate it on my network. It was a piece of cake. The manual did not mention anywhere that it would work with my Smart Life App. but the Amazon site said that it would. I have purchased two digital 7 day timers in about 10 years to control my Christmas lights, but they have both failed, on the last one, every year I would have to replace the internal battery and then find the manual to reprogram it, it was not simple enough for me to remember a year later. This WiFi switch is very simple to program from my phone app and it will not need batteries. I set it up to turn the lights on at sundown and stay on for Four hours. This switch was not very expensive and it works great. I will be purchasing additional ones to replace other switches that will be nice to have remote control and/or setup smart scenarios. I don't use Voice controlled automation, but I am sure that it would work perfectly with most any of them.

The switch was easy enough to install but it was thicker than a standard switch. If you put this switch and a standard switch in the same box, you’ll need spacers. I reflashed with Tasmota and am now using it with Home Assistant

Very easy to install. It does need a neutral wire to power the smart connection and I wired in a little 5 inch or so jumper from a neutral connection to the switch. I had plenty of scraps but it might be good to provide a piece of wire for those who don’t?Very easy to set schedules for on/off thru the day & which days thru the week. Just installed yesterday & works great with Alexa & my TuyaSmart app too.

This switch works well with my porch light. Easy to use manually. Biggest issue was getting it initially set up. Installation was easy and quick but you need to be careful because it’s made of 100% plastic. The app was a pain because it would not pair the first time took several times to get to to work. Once it’s connected it seems to stay locked on and doesn’t require much maintenance.

Easy to set up, can be controlled by Alexa or app on your phone. I used them to control my outside lights, using the timer in the app!

Works as an inexpensive conversion to a wifi controlled single pole switch. Looks cheap and installation a challenge because instructions not translated correctly from Chinese to English. Also cheap in that you have to create your own wires.
