Solid Dispenser
I purchased a 2 gallon mason style jar tea dispenser from Walmart that had a cheap plastic dispenser on it. I replaced it with this one and this thing is solid compared to the cheap plastic it came with.I’ve used it a few times and it works flawlessly. I have gotten a couple of drips from it, but that’s to be expected. Where the valve shut off is, you’ll sometimes get fluid trapped between that point and the opening for the dispenser. Hence the drip. But, I have never had it leak. Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking to replace theirs.

It's Great!!!
It was just what I wanted! Easy to install and fit perfectly, even though I forgot to measure things before ordering. It would have fit different sizes anyway. Love the stainless steel over our old plastic one. Sturdy and easy to use.

That this valve will last and not rust.
I like that it has been improved, that’s a good thing. It has a nice finished and polished look with some heft that it won’t break easily under use. Only time will tell how long a service life this valve has. I was looking to buy a nicer and more quality looking SS valve than my supplied plastic one, which still works. This is being used on a Alexapure gravity fed water filter and really looks like it belongs there, it flows water at higher volume than its predecessor which is nice and I also like the smooth operating quarter turn valve. I used a smooth jaw adjustable wrench to finish tightening up the nut, SS domed washers and silicone gaskets against the inside/outside curved surfaces of the bottom water tank.Installation tip:Tighten steadily till the entire silicone gaskets have no edge gaps visible, then you’ll have no leaks. Look at my top view looking down pic, you can discern the contact of the gasket edge conforms to the curvature of the SS can.

Solidly made, good flow, and super cute!
The media could not be loaded. I bought these to replace the stock spouts that came with my 2 gallon beverage jug I use for brewing kombucha. I just installed them today, so far so good. I only tested the flow with water, and a quick test with the pooch to top off a bottle, but the dispensing flow seems really solid. I really like the style of the spout, as well as the twist open handle, as the flip top opener has a tendency to snap shut if I'm not careful. Also, the twist open spout uses a sort of circular shape with a hole in it, as opposed to a silicone plug like the flip open spout uses.. Interesting. At first I was skeptical of the grommets and washers provided, but they proved to be quite the seal. Again, I tested with water before I poured my booch into the container (nobody wants fermented tea leaking everywhere!). These spouts are everything I had hoped for! They're stylish, functional, easy to use and install (just remember to "pick up and pull" the grommet around the threads of the back of the spout, as to keep the integrity of the grommet!), and the flow, so far, is a solid stream. I will update after a couple brews to see how they are holding up.Also, the washers that came with them turned out to be blue, not plane stainless like the rest of the product. As long as they keep their integrity and hold in the beverage like they're supposed to, I've got no problem with the blue :)

I learned my lesson….
I tried to find a replacement for my original plastic spigot that came with my 5 gallon water dispenser crock from Sparkletts. After 20 years, it finally failed. At first I bought a 2-pack of what looked like identical replacements for under $7 here on Amazon. The gaskets that came with them weren't great (I reused the originals), the flow rate was slow and they just felt fragile. These same cruddy plastic spigots appear to be all over Amazon, rebranding the same terrible quality. There were a few more expensive plastic models that appeared closer to what I had originally, but for the same price thought I'd take a chance on this stainless steel one. Yes you pay a little more than the bargain ones, and it's a bit of a more manual affair (not spring loaded, but just turns off and on like a normal valve, allowing the flow rate to be adjusted), but what a world of difference! Not only does it look much nicer, but the flow rate is perfect. So far there's no leaking, rusting, and the mechanism seems well made. No logos either! We'll see how it holds up over time. If I have any issues, I'll report back
