I wouldn't be without it on long flights.

Is solid enough to keep feet separated rather than having feet on top of each other

Was difficult to use and not beneficial at all, waste of money

It helps elevate my legs and is very helpful for shorter people whose legs just dangle. It slips in easy to my travel bag, and is quick to put away so I'm not holding up the line on the plane

I travel a lot and decided to give this Airplane Footrest a try; I am happy that I did because it did not let me down (pun intended).It is beyond easy to set up; you just have to decide how high you want it to hang because that is where your feet will be, you then place it over the tray and that is it! You enjoy yourself!I actually bought these footrests (I got 2 of them*) a few months ago but wanted to thoroughly try them before writing a review.I have used it while flying 4 different airlines in diverse length hauls, to about 7 or 8 countries, and the result was always great. *The second one that I got was for my sister, and she also loves it!It is very well made, sturdy but light to carry (I put it in my carry-on or in my handbag, for easier access). It is covered with a soft cloth and is reasonably cushioned so that it is "comfy but not pillowy". The strap is adjustable, has a snap clasp, and it comes in a small black pouch.After all these flights, our (both my sister's and my) footrest hammocks still look and feel like new! Now... I will say that -both of us- remove our shoes before using them and we fold them neatly to put away so, it's no surprise that they are in such good condition.I mention this because I have seen reviews with photos of people with their shoes on! But, let me ask you, why would you want to spread all the dirt and bacteria that you have gathered on your shoe soles while walking around on your trip, on the device that will support your feet and make your flight more comfortable?! Please, DON'T DO THAT!!!Now, as you see, I gave it 4 stars for its level of comfort because of its width -approximately 5 inches- that I would have preferred to be at least 8 inches wide. 5 inches are perfect for children and people with small feet, and even though mine are a size 7, that little bit that is missing would have made a good difference.If you have big feet or are a person of a larger general size I would suggest that you consider a different option.In any case, I do like my Airplane Footrest Hammock and for the time being, I will continue to travel with and enjoy it.

I finally ordered these, after seeing them recommended in a travel article a year or two ago, and I used one on my most recent transatlantic flight in economy. It made me feel much more comfortable and was surprisingly easily tucked out of the way when not in use. You hang it on the back of the food tray, and as far as I could tell, it didn't bother the person in front of me at all, and it worked for me even when the person in front reclined their seat. I guess it wouldn't work if you picked a bulkhead seat. The airline attendants didn't say anything to me about it, but that might have been different in an emergency aisle--I didn't ask.

Damit war der Langstrecken-Flug sehr angenehm. Super Investition.

It sounds like a good idea but it doesn’t really work on planes where the space seems to be getting smaller.
