Absolutely Superb, never using petrol again
Boy, this is good!! Never write product reviews, but so impressed with this that I had to. Providing you can get power to where needed, then this trumps petrol chainsaws for me. Lighter, quieter, no fuel/filters/plugs maintenance and no annoying pull cord start - plus a fraction of the price! Fact you make a cut and then.... silence. Ample power, slices through trunks like hot knife through butter. Easy to assemble, sturdy quality construction, decent Oregon chain and bar. Love it.

Excellent chainsaw
Great chainsaw. I initially purchased a little mini chainsaw to cut up fire wood and when that couldn’t do the job I bought this one. Absolutely no issue at all cutting through logs. Very light to use, very easy to assemble, I got a pre-used one from Amazon that didn’t come with instructions and I was able to assemble it and put it all together without them. Very easy to tension the chain, feels very good quality and strong.

Savage
Ive been using chainsaws for last 30 years, tree surgery, felling and the like. i bought this one for Cutting wood at home to run my boiler on (wood is my sole source of heating.) I've used a lot of chainsaws but never a mains electric one. Been using this one for a week. Initial impression; The saw is well made, tough, well thought out. looks good, its matt black rather than orange but I guess if you lose it in the woods you could always find your way back to it back from the power point. Good weight/balance. Oil level is visible on side of tank which is great because youre never going to check the oil when the petrol runs out. Good trobust cable of a useful length. Performance: if you are someone who often puts their foot on branches to stop them getting away while your cutting them then all that is about to change. No half measures here, the saw is either full revs or off. i don't know what the RPM is but I reckon if would scare the pants off my industrial angle grinder. It has tons of power. I mean if you used it at night you might see street lights dimming. I'm serious, I mean after a week my log pile is now just dust blowing around in the wind. Good thing is, if you did cut your leg off with it or the piece of wood youre cutting spins out of the pile and breaks your jaw there's no immediate worry about where or when to put the saw down. Soon as you let go the trigger it brakes the chain, there's no inertia at all. it's off. Just lay right back and wait until someone finds you. In a nutshell; Look out, this saw is not for pussies. if it's your first ever chainsaw....good luck.

Excellent machine.
Very impressive chainsaw. Easily cut through old tree. Well built and good instructions. Was a bit apprehensive about using as I had never used a chain saw before. Worth watching a few YouTube videos about safety and techniques. Doesn’t come with oil, so you will need to purchase some before use. Also purchased some gloves from Oregon. Safety googles and or helmet should used.

Can't fault it
I have been using this saw domestically for one year now and it has performed well. It has enough power to cut 1.5ft ash logs, as with any saw you, just have to let the tool do the work. The bar locking mechanism is good and rarely needs readjusted once set properly. The clutch/brake that instantly stops the blade once trigger released is a good feature. I find the sight glass for the bar oil level difficult to read but one fill has generally been enough for one cutting session. Very pleased and won't annoy my neighbours like my petrol saw would.

Unbelievable for the price!
This chainsaw is an absolute beast. I wanted to manually mill some logs for use as woodworking boards. Went through a sycamore like butter. First impressions are very positive. I hope it has longevity, it should because it won’t have heavy use. Comparably to petrol saws it is pretty quiet, but still used ear protection in case.

Oil doesn't reach the chain
The oil doesn't reach the chain after using it three or four times. I was told previously that it was air bubbles but I'm I store it upright and keep it will maintained.

Wonderful chainsaw - very powerful and ideal for chopping up logs etc
I bought this during the Spring sale to chop up some big leylandii logs in the garden. I wasn't sure what to get but I have a Bosch pruning chainsaw that uses Oregon blades so I guessed it must be a good brand. I also noticed it has good reviews on Youtube and it was fairly powerful - and you can never have too much power eh?! :D Anyway, when you fire it up ... Holy Smoke! The power of this thing is amazing - it's scary the first time you use it but it goes through 6-inch trunks like a knife through butter - they take seconds to dice up. You do have to watch out for it pulling or pushing back at you if it binds but just think about safety at all times. After using it the first time I went online and immediately bought the Oregon chaps and gloves! Since then we have easily taken down 8-inch thick trees with ease though watch a few experts online so you know how to do it all safely!

Man sollte dazu schreiben das die Säge keinen Stecker für Deutschland daran hat und einen Adapter benötigt wird . Das ist schlecht, denn weñ ich ein Gerät kaufe für Deutschland sollte es auch dafür ausgestattet sein.
