I’m a “quick” cook. That means I use store bought puff pastry. This was perfect for rolling it to the right size for a tart. Since it was a hot day,I put the rolling pin in the freezer & it worked perfectly. Stainless steel is the perfect material for a rolling pin. It’s light weight, easy to clean (wipe with soapy cloth-rinse-wipe with dry cloth), and much easier on arthritic hands than old rolling pin with handles.

When I went through my kitchen to get rid of old kitchen gadgets I never use, my old wooden rolling pin didn't make the cut. It randomly stuck to the dough, and it was a pain to clean. In the months since getting rid of it, I had started baking various bread products - mostly pita and bagels. In lieu of a rolling pin, I had used a glass cup. It sucked. The day I got this in the mail, I was making pita again. I can't tell you how much nicer it was to use a rolling pin, and rinsing it off at the end of the process was a dream. 10/10 recommend this thing!

I've ordered this exact rolling pin twice. In addition to the great price, I like that it's small enough to easily fit in a drawer and I really like that this rolling pin is the same diameter through the entire length and not wider/fatter in the middle. It works great for rolling out smaller quantities of dough such as for pitas or tortillas, etc. I made the mistake of putting the first one in the dishwasher. The finish held up fine, but the end caps did not. This rolling pin is basically a hollow metal tube with two caps glued on each end. One of the end caps fell off from the glue loosening in the dish washer. I attempted to re-attach it using a "Crazy Glue" gel, but there's not much area for the glue to even hold to with the thin material. That said, I like the rolling pin enough that I just ordered a new one and, so far, with hand-washing, it's held up well.

I really like this rolling pin. It’s lightweight & easy to use, easy to wash... I just wash it by hand cus it take like 2 seconds! Only thing I will say is, I did kind of expect it to have less stick to it... which it doesn’t stick much, but I think I imagined less things sticking to it than actually do. I think though that it’s particular stainless steel material probably allows you to make it less sticky in various ways, with refrigerating it, or adding flour, oil, etc. to it, depending on what your making... come to think of it... I really have no idea if flour could even stick to this thing! Haha! Maybe that’s the point though—minimal sticking, but you don’t have to use flour at all! Note: It was great for rolling FONDANT & sugar cookies. Normal rolling pin I would have wanted to use flour or sugar to coat my sugar cookie dough to minimize sticking, but with this rolling pin, I didn’t need flour or sugar! There was a little bit of stickage, but it was MINIMAL!

I LOVE this rolling pin! I bake a lot & I have accumulated quite a few helpful tools. I hate things that take up more space than is necessary in the drawers of my kitchen. This rolling pin is not one of those things. The minimalist design is my favorite part! It takes up less room than the more traditional wooden rolling pin that I used growing up, with the larger diameter and the long handles. This one rolls evenly, is not quite as "sticky", and is very easy to clean and store! I'll be raving about it and recommending it to all my fellow baking friends.

I've long used a wooden rolling pin, not thinking about the germs that must cling to it. The stainless steel pin is just perfect. You can easily tell when it's clean and won't be ruined if soaked or run under hot water. The only trouble I had (having used a pin with handles for as long as I have), was adjusting to rolling the pin with my palms. Once I got the hang of it, it was so much easier to control than a wooden pin. Just LOVE having this in my kitchen.

This was larger than I expected, I should have paid more attention to the measurements provided by the seller. I purchased this wanting something smaller, but I do like it and plan to use it a lot. I love that you can just put it in the dishwasher for easy clean up.
