This is a great and affordable match quality pistol
I purchased this pistol to play around with in my garage. I have the room to setup a 10 meter range, so it is nice for cold winter nights to have something to do. I wanted a match grade Air Pistol, but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to get one. I had seen the reviews on this and thought I would give it a try. I am very impressed with the accuracy of this pistol. The trigger pull is very light, so you are not pulling off bullseye because the trigger is stiff. At 10 meters, I can easily connect the holes using a red dot sight. The air tank can be filled quickly with a hand pump versus trying to fill a rifle tank. I have a SCBA/Compressor setup for my rifle, so I fill from that. Air usage seems to be good. There doesn't appear to be any sign of the trigger ratcheting the air valve like some of the rifles do. The other awesome feature is this thing is quiet. You don't need hearing protection. You won't have the neighbors calling the police when you are shooting it in your back yard.Overall, this is a fun gun to shoot and with match grade pellets. (I am shooting Crosman Premiers) you will have amazing accuracy.

Be careful. These things are addictive.
I'm developing a serious passion for airguns. I bought my first PCP from Amazon when they had a sale on the Benjamin Marauder pistol/carbine. Benjamin is a Crosman company. I now have 4 PCP airguns. This is another beauty. If you want to take a big step up from BB guns, precharged pneumatic (PCP) is the way to go. The Silhouette fires a .177 pellet, single shot. It doesn't have quite the power to use on varmints. But great fun target shooting or plinking. To me, the trigger makes the difference between a gun that's a joy to shoot and one that's a PITA. This has a nice light pull. Put a little red dot sight, or even a small scope on the dovetail rail and you have a very accurate gun. Quiet, so you won't alarm the neighbors if you're in the backyard.Be aware that you need a high pressure pump to fill any PCP rifle or gun (you can't use your bicycle pump or shop compressor). These things hold 3,000psi.If you want a serious target shooter, look no further. Not cheap, but a fraction of what a high end competition pistol would cost. If you want to go a step farther, or rid your garden of pests, take a look at the Benjamin Marauder .22 pistol. Or farther up, the Marauder rifle available in .177, .22, or .25 gauge.

Lacked power but was very accurate
This pistol definitely lacks power even at 3,000 psi, I used a thin paper target with an old couch cushion as a backdrop and the pellets bounced off the cushion, it seemed slower to get to the target than does my 305 fps crossbow at the same distance. It also leaked more than 600 psi per day while being unused. But thanks to Amazon making the return easy, I decided to get my money back instead of trying another one.

Perfect plinker!
Hemmed and hawed about buying this for a year....If you want a low powered, quiet pellet plinker you can shoot targets with, just get it. Absolutely accurate, easily gets 50 shots per fill and the trigger...so light, you just think the word "shoot" and it's done. At 10 yards, it doesn't care if your using cheap ol Crosman pellets or Meisterkugelns. Not pellet picky at all and will group tight. Don't get the red dot I did (UUQ HD1079PRO), too bright, not parallax free. With a $100 Bug buster on it, it shoots 1 ragged hole all day long.

Great accurate pistol.
Great pistol but where is my rear sight? It shoots accurately and is easy to tune. I wish it came with a magazine like the Marauder. It is a very time consuming process loading one pellet at a time. Its probably a 10 meter open sites pistol but I later added the Crosman shoulder stock and with a old 4×16×44 scope to shoot at 45yd targets which is near it's limits. It will tear paper but not move any metal targets. The report on this gun is fairly quiet and back yard friendly.

... will shoot tiny little groups at 10 yards with good pellets and still impressive groups with cheap pellets
This isn't a hunting gun for pests but it will shoot tiny little groups at 10 yards with good pellets and still impressive groups with cheap pellets. Get a different gun for splatting vermin. The grips are far from the best in the world and one of the panels will have some movement in it no matter how tight you screw it down. At this price point I won't complain about that as most that are somewhat serious about target shooting will replace the grips with something that will actually fit them right. I get around 60 shots per fill with very little deviation in velocity, on a full fill the first 20 shots varied by less than 5 FPS.....I didn't bother using the chrono any more. This gun is accurate by my standards and at 10M will out shoot my model 41 S&W, that's saying something. If you want an air pistol that shoots tighter you will be spending A LOT more money. Trigger is easily adjustable. Very back yard friendly, pellets hitting steel make more noise than the muzzle. Get yourself a williams rear sight or a decent red dot and you'll be happy with this one.

I've really enjoyed this little PCP-powered target pistol.
The fun part has been pumping this little beauty up and then plinking around. It's not too noisy (I've shot it in my backyard) and it's easy to pump up with my Crosman PCP pump. In my opinion, this is a nice, fun and enjoyable little target pistol. I have to admit that I didn't think too much about there not being a rear-sight, but it wasn't hard to come by one. This has been a nice addition to my pellet-gun arsenal.
