Minn Kota 1865017 Weedless Wedge 2 MKP-32 Prop 2091160

I replaced the standard Minn Kota"Power Prop" that came with my new Minn Kota Traxxis 55. I was totally frustrated with weeds clogging the prop. I did not have to be going through thick weeds at all to get the prop jammed up.. This Weedless Wedge 2 thing is awesome. It is just as "powerful" as the original prop. I lost absolutely no speed whatsoever in open water. This thing goes through weeds as though you are going through weedless water! Nothing is completely weedless, of course. I still have to occasionally clear the weeds that accumulate around the shaft itself. No prop can fix that. No more lifting up the motor and manually clearing the prop.. The heaviest and thickest weeds only require me to hit reverse for a few seconds and all clear again. More fishing time and less cursing.This review is for the new and improved Weedless Wedge 2 NOT the original Weedless Wedge which I did not try. Why take the risk with the "original" Weedless Wedge??Note to Minn Kota: Why do you even bother to make the "Power Prop" at all????? Is this a way to just make people spend money to upgrade their prop?

The text description on Amazon clearly states that this Weedless Wedge 2 MKP-32 will fit a MinnKota 'Edge 45', I just received the prop and it DOES NOT fit on a MinnKota Edge 45... This Weedless Wedge 2 MKP-32 is made for a much bigger motor.

Our lake has been over run with thick grassy weeds, this propeller cuts right thru them keeps the pontoon moving , you will still get weeds on the shaft which is inevitable. I’m very happy I bought the weedless propeller it was worth every penny!

My motor came with a three blade propeller. It was worthless in weeds. Changed to weedless wedge and went right through them. Can't say this is the best on the market. Just don't know. But it does what it promises.
