Got this to play with my coworkers, including my boss (we're all friends). Very similar to Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity, (same premise), with the addition of pulling a card that adds how one would reaction in a situation. I agree with other reviewers that said the Reaction cards are too specific. This doesn't need to be the case, and actually detracts from the play. I am a Hillary Clinton supporter, but why not just say "react as a strong woman politician"? The "react as Hitler" card is simply not appropriate in this game and went immediately into the garbage. There also are not enough reaction cards. Not for lack of ideas for them, as we had many that we'll implement on our own. There are not very many cards in general. The box is much bigger than the amount of cards it holds. Maybe they were already prepping for expansion packs? All in all, a great premise for a game and fun to play, but not enough cards, (especially Reaction), and could be worded much more constructively.

Fun, but Short
This is a really fun game, but there are too few cards to play with more than a couple people. Would love to see some expansions.

Need more cards to choose from. Becomes repetitive with a big group after a short time.

Great game for work and home!
Similar in design to Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity (although more work and child-appropriate), in Awkward Moment at Work players compete to win each round by playing the "best" match to each card presented by the decider (dealer). But Awkward Moment at Work brings a unique angle to this format by having the players match specific reactions to humorous and awkward moments (often moments that could occur at work, hence the name) and adds a fun extra element with the decider card, which sets the criteria for how the dealer will determine the best reaction to a moment (such as "most insensitive" or "what would Oprah do?"). Using three different cards (moment, decider, and reaction) allows for a vast number of possible combinations and great replay value. This is good considering the deck is not the largest. While the decider card somewhat limits the freedom of the dealer when determining the best moment card and reaction card match, there is still plenty of room for personal interpretation and friendly, or not-so-friendly, discussion among the players. Recommended for 3-8 players, the more people involved the more entertaining it becomes. Although it can be fun playing with only one other and just arguing with that person who played the best reaction card to the moment and decider cards flipped up. As long as these discussions don't get too heated this is a perfect game for both work and home. Many hilarious card combinations emerge and perhaps you'll learn what to do, or more likely what not to do, the next time you find yourself in an awkward moment at work.

Unnecessary Cards
I appreciate the game, and I like the optional 'decider' mechanic, but some of the cards seem unnecessary at best, and just dumb at worst, enough to cause moderate buyer's remorse. Specifically, several decider cards seemed silly, like a "What would Batman do" card. One card specifically bothered me though, being "What would Hillary Clinton do?" I don't understand why politics need to be brought into a card game.Anyways, overall the game is relatively enjoyable, but I don't recommend playing with the decider cards. The creators didn't broaden the audience very much, which confounds me.

good for families with kids who are at that age ...
While working at the local ice cream shop, Apples to Apples met fellow game, Cards Against Humanity, (who seriously toned down the antisocial act because Apples to Apples was SO cute), and then,...If you are familiar with the game play of Apples to Apples you get the flow of this game. In response to a Moment card (AWKWARD!) , Players choose a reaction card from their dealt hand; the Decider chooses a winner of each round based on a criteria from the Decider Deck (and on utter whimsy): conversation and protests and laughs ensue as individuals collect Moments in pursuit of victory. It is a very social game, good for families with kids who are at that age of entering the larger economy, though it could work at work as well to open up the lines of communication, and younger kids have no problem because Awkward Moments are a pretty universal experience, worth talking through and laughing into perspective. A fitting follow up to the original Awkward Moment.
