Hard to find around where we live so I got it online. Great masa to make arepas.

Gluten-free? Consistency changed
I have been making my Colombian arepas 🫓 for years and the Goya one has been the perfect one until this one in particular. As I prepared it, I noticed the huge consistency difference and the taste. I went back to analyze the package and I noticed the “gluten-free” mark on it? When I purchased this item, there was nothing on the original picture and or description about that. 👎🏼 (not happy). Price: It was the better price compared to others. Shipping: Fast and no issues.

Good product. Have used it for a while. Used to buy it at the store but for some reason lately have not seen it. Will continue buying it.

Bought if to make sadza, it makes great sadza but not so great porridge. The taste for porridge isn't good.

Love it, great product
I am from Africa, in a country called Uganda, this is what we eat, and Kenyans are too; it's adorable to find it in the USA. Go Goya 😀 by the way Goya in my language Luganda Goya means stire the meal firmly. We use corn meal to make a meal In Kenya they call it Ugali and in my language Luganda we call it Akawunga. Fainting world we live In.

Finally, I found flour that works for ugali/sadza/pap! Tasty, perfect consistency. Go on, try it! Pricey, and I’ll keep looking for a cheaper but similar experience, but I’m happy right now.

Plastic not food
I gave 1 star because there is no zero star. DO NOT BUY THIS. It’s like plastic. Nothing eatable. I use to buy it from Walmart until I could not find it and decided to order it from Amazon. Please do not buy it .

happy with product
i order this cornmeal for another person who eats it--she is very happy with it and it is exactly what she wanted--however, when i received my package i noticed that it was packaged in a priority envelope---it was a heavy 5 lb bag and not appropriate to package in this way--it came damaged and partly opened---the cornmeal however was not opened---i wrote to you and told you about it---i was told to take a picture of it but i had already delivered the package and could not do that--but i wanted to let you know, again, that when i order in the future, if this happens again, i will no longer be ordering this product from you---other than this, i was happy with the product and it arrived in a timely fashion
