The one thing I was worried about is if I could open the hood with the jack on it and I found that I could. The jack has to be mounted with the lift fork facing forward. With the hood up the jack heal comes very close, but it does not touch the paint.One unintended function I found was using it like a catwalk when setting up and taking down my rooftop tent. I realize the mounts are not designed for this function or weight, but the held up just fine for us.. I guess that speaks for the quality.

Very sturdy jack mount and great quality. I chose this one over other high lift jack mounts because it includes a spot for a pad lock to secure your jack.Pros: Easy to install, sturdy, and includes pad lock hole.Cons: the bolt used to secure the jack to the mount is too long. You’ll have to go to a local hardware store and buy a shorter 3/8” bolt.Tip: buy a rubber washer for you mount as well when buying a shorter bolt. It helps protect you jack and reduce any noise from bumps in the road.

Did not even come close to fitting on my 2017JK. Holes were about 1/2" off from where they should have been. Other than that, they seem sturdy and the coating is nice. Unfortunately I will be returning my set.

I’m updating my review as I had these for exactly one month and the screws provided for install already rusted in the middle. I also wasn’t able to enjoy this for very long because mid drive one of the black mount Knobs they provide flew off and I had to pull over to remove this from my hood to avoid further damage. I wanted to return this , however I was unable to remove the screws and now the return window has passed. Spend a little more for better mount.

These are amazingly sturdy, hold a 48" off road Jack on my 2020 gladiator, only problem is they sent me the wrong screws to hold the jack, they were too long.

I was happy that this product looked as if it could be pad locked to the Hi-lift but never got the chance to try it. The mounting bracket’s holes pre-drilled for the hood were too far apart to fit my 2019 JLUR. I’ll be returning this item.

Brackets are very sturdy and well made. The bolts used to hold jack in place are too long, but that was a simple fix.
