Oh my goodness it's AMAZING!! I was on the search for a replacement after dove canceled the co-wash I had been using for many years. With this a little goes a long way, it detangles amazingly, it smells great, great shape and bounce to my curls. The true testament... My young adult son has been battling depression for about 7months now and has not cared to tend to his hair and his long curls were a matted dreadlock all in one bunch. It was heavy and uncomfortable. I sat with him last night and we soaked his hair, used the co-wash, let it sit for 15minutes and within an hour his long curls were slick and beautiful!!! Definitely worth the price. Controls frizz very well. Overall sooo excited I found this product!

I am a white girl with colored hair and this stuff is amazingly perfect for my hair. I love the smell and consistency. I love how soft and clean and moisturized my hair gets. Great product!!!

On my fine hair, this does a great job as long as I wash it every day. With other cowashes my hair can skip a day or two and it would stay pretty fresh feeling, but this turns greasy feeling at the end of day one. Smells great and hair feels soft and clean, but can tend to the greasy feeling side.

I have 2A hair, very fine, normal thickness. I’ve been babying it for a few years since an unfortunate bleach accident, and as part of that I stopped using shampoo altogether. I’ve been using As I Am cowash, which is really great and I recommend it, but it wasn’t always rinsing clean anymore after using so long. I tried using tiny bits of shampoo occasionally to remove buildup, but my hair did not like that at all - it got dry and crackly and uncooperative even with a lot of conditioning afterwards. So I tried this, and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s more cleansing than conditioning, so if you need a lot of moisture, I would go with As I Am or some some other cowash. This works well for me, since I really just need a very gentle cleanser, and I use moisturizing conditioner afterwards anyway (Shea Moisture - it’s good stuff.) I still use As I Am most of the time on the damaged ends of my hair, but I am using only this on the roots, and I don’t get oily roots right away anymore. The scent is very strong, so don’t use it if you have a bad reaction to strong perfumes. I happen to like scents in general, and I like this one a lot, but even for me it was pretty strong at first. I also end up using more of this in one go than I would with As I Am cowash, but I only wash my hair ~ 2x a week, so that’s not a big problem. I’ve just added it to Subscribe & Save, now that it’s available again, and my daughter tried mine and is going to start using it also (her hair is 2A, fine, waist length, quite thick, and not damaged, and it works very well for her also.)

This combo shampoo/conditioner is my favorite! It primes my fine hair into a sweet soft, bouncy bob with ease.

It is a great co-wash cleansing conditioner for a fantastic price! I am caucasian in my late 40's. As I have gotten older, my hair has gotten drier, coarser, and somewhat curly. This co-wash does the job, getting my hair clean while keeping it soft and flattening the cuticle--eliminating frizz. I do not color or perm my hair and like to wash and go, letting it air dry. I wash my hair twice a week, otherwise it dries out too much, and this co-wash really gets it clean. I followed the instructions and got great results with one use the first time I used it. Highly recommend; give it a try!

I LOVE this product. It washes and conditions very well leaving my hair shiny and silky and to top it off it smells GREAT. However, the bottle I received this time leaked. The cap was cracked and while it was in a plastic bag, it leaked into the bag, seeped out of the top of the bag which was not sealed and then leaked onto the box it was packed in. Not sure if this all happened during transport or if the cap was already cracked when placed in the plastic bag. I was able to used much, but not all of what leaked into the bag, but the cardboard box absorbed what leaked out of the bag. I hope these types of products are securely packaged in the future to prevent leakage.

I gave 3 stars because when first out of the bottle it has an odd petroleum smell that lasts 2 seconds then evolves into a pleasant odor. That is once it comes out of bottle. Doesn't squeeze out of bottle, the bottle is stiff (not a complaint) that won't break if dropped. It is thick but not thicker than other co-shampoo. Shaking the bottle upside down doesn't help for me. I am afraid to store it upside down since cap isn't made for upside-down storage. It leaves my curly hair perfect. It is very hot for the next few weeks. All I do is wash my hair with it - twice, towel dry, apply a little mousse and I am good to go. No fizzles, not even after my hair gets sweating. The only negative is I have grave difficulty washing my hair in the shower with the product. Great for my curly hair.

Most co-wash on the market just condition the hair with no cleasing agents… this one definitely replace my shampoo + conditionner when I want a quick wash day… Plus it smells good ! I just wish that there were bigger size

I swim daily in chlorine water so needed a gentle but effective shampoo for my curly 3a/b textured hair. This co-wash is beautiful and lovely smelling. Its very gentle but cleans my hair well and leaves it silky & smelling lovely.
