The design/cut out of the brace is for right hand application. I went on the basis of one of the questions that mike said it's left and by pictures posted which is misleading. Should've went by pic by vendor. 4 stars as material could be a better, soft and comfortable on right hand use, but the Velcro will fuzz up the material at the wrist area.

Great alternative to doctors over priced braces. Smaller than most boxer break casts. Started to fall apart at the 6 week mark however still structurally sound. Metal guides started to be exposed however lasted entirety of healing process. More of a wrist guard rather than a full on brace.

So very comfortable. I broke my pinky and didn't know, it healed fine, but now I have a soft tissue damage in the knuckle. I dont know what is wrong, there is a popping, anyways, needed to comfortably and reliably immobilize it without pulling it my just moving my wrist..this did the trick! Incredibly comfy. BTW, take it from me, you think a u-shape is better for splinting a pinky. It is not. This does what you thought, and i though, that would do. Get it. This is the one you want.

My husband had a boxers fracture. We didn’t know that right away, we thought his pinky was just jammed. I ordered this prior to him finally going to the doctor to get an x-ray. He wore it for just under two weeks before going in. After the doctor looked at the x-ray she confirmed he indeed had a fracture but the x-ray showed it was healing great. She said there was really nothing more she would have been able to do with him, and that the brace he had was the best thing for this injury. She suggested he continue using it between 6 to 8 weeks from the start of the injury. We are seven weeks in and things are looking great.

This thing blows. It’s apparently made for people that have fingers ten feet long. It’s like wearing a cheap, poorly fitted oven mitt and you can’t get it to line up or fit comfortably at all. Waste of money!

Habe mir die Basis des 5. Mittelhandknochens gebrochen und finde diese Bandage nach 8 Tagen Gipsschiene, die von Tag zu Tag mehr müffelte, super. Habe von meinem Arzt die Digi Soft Fingerorthese von Bort Medical verschrieben bekommen, finde diese aber viel besser. Die Größe passt bei mir ganz genau, so dass sie für Männerhände evtl. zu klein sein könnte. Die Bandage sitzt sehr angenehm, ist an den richtigen Stellen angenehm gepolstert und einfach anzuziehen. Im Gegensatz zur Digi Soft ist hier mein 5. MHK komplett geschützt, was ich sehr angenehm finde, und die Bewegung des 4. und 5. Fingers werden zuverlässig unterbunden, so dass ich schmerzfrei bin. Schön wäre es, wenn es die Bandage für Leute mit größeren oder kleineren Händen auch noch in anderen Größen gäbe. Für mich zum Glück nicht nötig. Meine Handgröße entspricht der Größe 2 bei der Digi Soft, dies war die einzige Sorte Fingerorthese, die das Sanitätshaus Rahm für mein Problem im Angebot hatte.
