Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga- Greatest Hits - Playstation 3

I see many reviews of this game from parents who purchased the game for their children and how much the kids like it, as well as some who enjoy playing with their kids, which is great. As a 33 yr old without children, i am proud to say that this game will even appeal to grown adults who purchased it simply for themselves. It's actually one of the few games that my girlfriend will play with me, as we are both Star Wars fans (myself more so). Of course it's not going to provide the challenge that more hardcore games will, though there are some challenging parts, Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga is an excellent, lighthearted Star Wars adventure with Lego pieces. Covering the entire movie series, from Episodes I - VI, you can relive you favorite parts of the story with hilarious cut scenes. Each Episode is divided into "Chapters", all of which are accessed from the famous Cantina on Tatooine. There are a ton of things to do at the Cantina, which is like your home base. Unlocked characters (purchased with coins acquired during your adventure) wander around (and occasionally a brawl breaks out), there is a place to create your own character to use, spend your coins on new characters and ships, as well as hints, tricks, and bonus levels. There is also a location to view your ship models that are pieced together from various lego pieces hidden throughout each Chapter. Besides going through the Story Mode, there is Free Play mode, where, once you've completed the Story Mode, you can return to any Chapter, taking along a group of characters, and replay the Chapter to acquire hidden items previously inaccessible. This extends the replay value tremendously, and 2 player drop-in, drop-out, is available in both modes. The music is classic Star Wars, the sound effects are everything that you've come to expect in a Star Wars adventure, and the graphics excellent. Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga is definitely a game that will appear to a wide variety of audiences, from small children to grown adults, who are unashamed to say the play Lego Star Wars!

I am an adult and I love LEGOS. Having LEGO video games for your favorite Movies or even other game crossovers is bonus! These LEGO games follow a more family friendly version of the source material, plenty of comical jabs and are really fun. Nothing like Destroying other Lego characters and more pieces fly out than what holds them together! The local co-op makes it fun for friends and families to play together.

This is a great game for kids of a wide age range. The game encompasses six levels from each of the six Star Wars episodes. In addition there is a bunch of extra levels, and with lots of skills and bonuses to unlock there's very high re-play value. If you're not familiar with the Lego video games, there is always some clever take on the original source that Lego incorporates into their games. Plus when a player "dies" their lego pieces just fall apart. The game is not just a laser gun blast-fest. These levels present puzzle challenges for kids to solve that are fun and challenging to my 9 year old but are also easily manageable for 3-5 year olds. This is probably the best of all the Lego games, a favorite for all my family even me. The only thing that could make this game better is to have shorter or skip-able cut scenes on the story mode.

I enjoy the humor that only Lego games based on old movies can approach, the antics or the ways in which the company that made this game approached the story is quite interesting as a whole. And the over all play and play ability for new gamers or small children is also a huge plus. It also helps that the game maintains the things we remember well giving us and small kids the star wars stories all over again. With lots of replay value because of very thing you may not of known the first time through, there is even some cleverly hidden secret area's. That honestly should only have one access point but some how if your really good at the game you can access it from the exit. Now that is putting one in the eyes of the developers for sure, as a whole I would rate the style and ability and general play value as must for small kids and people who may need to entertain small kids. And the fact that the game is 20 bucks makes it hard to beat for what it will do to keep the little ones quite.

I was on the fence about which version I should get. I like new because I’m the first to use it and the disc won’t be scratched, but that price tag of almost $100 really put me off. I ended up going with the used disk after I messaged my brother to get advice and he said why not try the cheaper option and if it doesn’t work, then go with new. I knew I wouldn’t get the original case or user manual, but that was fine since my discs go into a CD case to save space. The disc looked practically new, I was very impressed with how it looked.

It's been quite some time since I've played a game that starts by dropping you off without any fancy tutorial or telling you exactly what to do; and I really like that. From the very beginning you start off in a cantina and just start playing around with the buttons and interacting with things. It gave me a nostalgic feeling of some games from SNES/PSX days. I never looked twice at the LEGO series games in the past as I didn't think they had much substance to them. I needed a fun game I could play with my 12 year old nephew though and I'm glad I bought this game! It's not geared much for storyline, but this is actually good since the focus is all on the gameplay which is very fun and interactive. You can destroy most objects(even your own allies) and it's always fun to build the different piles of legos you find throughout the levels. There is also a lot of re playability as you have to unlock other characters to get everything in each level. The stats for everything accomplished shows at every door to each level, a bit like Crash Bandicoot. It's also fun trying to unlock everything you can by buying extras at the shop. It may not be the most epic game out there, but for the price you really can't beat the value you get whether in single player or multiplayer. A must buy game!

If you have never played a Lego game before, this is definitely the best place to start. The game play is simple enough to pick up and go but there is so much content that it will take quite a long time to actually get everything. For gamers on a budget, like myself, this game and the others in the Lego franchise are fantastic because they are fun and have HUGE replay value. If you have young kids it is also great because they can play with you or by themselves and you won't have to worry about any exposing them to any unwanted content like sex or swearing. The only downside is that I played both Lego Star Wars games on PS2 and so there wasn't much difference. By the time I got this I had already gotten nearly 100% in both of those and this was pretty much like playing the same games again. That being said, this is not a slam against this game and is a testament that it was so much fun I didn't mind doing that.

We didn't spend very long playing this game, but what we did was not very compelling. Beyond the gimmicks of being Lego and Star Wars, there's not much there. Just running around repeating basic actions and poking things at random to see what you can do, with almost no guidance about what you're supposed to be doing or how anything works. When there's nothing rewarding you, you don't need a lot of frustration to stop playing and do something else. Maybe a little more exploration would have revealed a great game, but maybe not. Didn't seem worth it to keep trying.

Good condition love Lego games played all ps3 and ps4 versions think the starswars one s are the bed and batman this doesn't have trophy support. As made before 2008 as two player offline and online where u can play thought campaign. Together graphics not as sharp as latest Lego games but dont ruin game play for me
