Great product. Although I put mine together alone I recommend assistance of a second person to make it easier. Very sturdy and solid. The product description states a max per shelve weight capacity of 600 lbs, or 3000 lbs for the entire unit of 5 shelves. I doubt I will ever have that much weight on mine, but this was a strong selling point for me. Especially after reading reviews for other similar products where people stated that their shelves actually broke at the welding points or arrived bent. Mine arrived intact which I attribute to the high quality steel. The steel is very high quality, thick gauge, and the finish of the steel is also very nice. You will not be disappointed in this purchase. It is very spacious and each of the 5 shelves can be adjusted to various heights of your preference. If you have the room then definitely go for more shelves and as wide and deep as your space allows. I got mine from Amazon Warehouse Deals at a bit of discount from the regular price but if I had to purchase again I would not mind paying the full price considering that the quality is great and they really serve their purpose well. I highly recommend this item and would purchase again.

My apartment is small, with a limited amount of floor space, counter space, and cupboard space. This Seville Classics 36 inch shelf unit gives me a lot of extra space in my small kitchen for a lot of things. I got little hooks for the ends, where I hang kitchen utensils, strainers, brushes, a mop, a broom, and a towel on one end; and cables, wires, headphones, and a bilum on the other end. And on the tops of the corner posts I can hang jackets, shirts, towels, or microfiber cloths, among other things. On the middle shelf I have a Cuisinart convection and toaster oven, so it doesn't use up any counter space. (I never have to move it--it stays there all the time, and it's always plugged in.) I also have plenty of room on its five shelves to keep a Vitamix base and two blending containers, two Instant Pot pressure cookers, a large 23-cup Zerowater pitcher, an Omega NC800 juicer, some glass jars of up to one gallon in size for sugar and flour, etc, lots of four liter glass jugs that I keep filled with filtered water, and of course some miscellaneous items here and there. It's really nice to be able to keep my counters clear for working on whatever I want to do. I only put my small kitchen appliances on the counter while using them, usually just one at a time (sometimes two when I'm pressure cooking). And then I put them right back on the shelf when I'm done, to get my counter space back. I also like that I can roll it out to clean underneath and behind it whenever I want, since the wheels that came with it are strong and roll very smoothly. And I can keep my covered pots and pans on the top shelf, where they're out of the way. There's enough room to spread them out without stacking them, and it's easy to slide them on and off as needed.

I've purchased several Seville Classics 5-Tier NSF Steel wire shelving units over the years prior to this purchase but haven't written any reviews until now. These units are really, really rugged. Pretty simple to put together, although I must say that when putting the shelves on the poles, it's nice to have an "extra set of hands" but I have done them without help, it just takes a bit longer to do. No big deal. I used a four pound rubber mallet to "set" the shelves or a thick folded cloth and a small hammer and "tap" them into place on the sleeves. Having the heavy duty caster wheels is sweet as you can just "roll it around" when you need to as long as you don't "max out" the weight when on casters. Not sure how they'll roll on a carpet, as several of mine are on a concrete basement floor. I love these units and I'm sure I'll order more in the future. They look great in a bedroom, kitchen, basement, ....anywhere you need extra storage these will do the job. Plus Seville offers the units in multiple sizes (widths and heights) so you can put them almost anywhere.

I have purchased SIX of these in this size, plus one that is 48" x 24" x 72". They are incredibly sturdy-- I will have them forever! The first one took me a while to put together, but once I got the idea they were really quick. Once I'm certain that the shelf is level and where I want it, I use a rubber mallet to tap the shelf down onto the supports. What I love is that I store things in Sterilite 58 Quart clear containers, and one shelving unit will hold 12 of them, two per shelf side-by-side. They stick out just a couple of inches, which doesn't bother me. I put the bottom shelf as close as possible to the wheels, and then leave just enough clearance between the shelves to slide the containers out easily (about 1/2"). The top shelf is actually below the top of the supports, and I stack four containers on the top shelf. I love being able to see what I have in storage, and to be able to roll the shelf out of the way so that I can mop the floor. Everything in the containers stays dust-free, and it's easy to wipe off the containers if they get dusty on the outside. This would be a really great set-up for someone with an online shipping business!

I ordered two of these and they arrived with all the parts. Quality of the materials was very good. I did notice after assembling that one of the shelves had a small dent on the front edge, but it can go against the wall where it's hardly noticeable. Assembly was very easy. The only thing I wish was a little better was the lock on the wheels -- they didn't seem to really stabilize the units much. But that was minor. I am a landlord and purchased these for an apartment kitchen that had very limited options for built-in cabinets due to locations of windows, doors and other openings. This went on a wall next to a window where the light could still come through, and of course, the location is flexible if the tenants want to arrange things differently.

This shelving unit is sturdy! I was worried about the plastic clips that hold the shelves in place on the legs but they were no problem at all. Zero tools required to assemble. I used the leveling feet instead of the casters but those casters are heavy duty! I'm going to use them to make a dolly. Box was nicely packaged, instructions very easy to follow, and very little waste or garbage other than some plastic used to protect the metal. Speaking of the metal, it shines really nicely. Very "chrome". The metal feels very solid, not thin. Zero give on the shelves. I'm extremely pleased with this unit - especially at this price! I recommend it 110%.
