Flydigi Wasp Wing pc Controller

I bought this to cool my M.2 external controller. It runs fine when just reading games off it but writing it gets throttled after about an hour. Plugging this into the top portion (where the controller is, you don't want to cool the NAND too much) has prevented it from being thermal throttled. A couple of points:1. The fan has multiple speeds, with the highest getting surprisingly high airflow for the size.2. It has RGB that can be disabled with a secondary button. I appreciate any fans that give you the option to turn this off, no matter how good it looks.3. It gets decent battery life without the plug in, but I keep mine always plugged in.Overall a great product and not just for phone use!

I've finally found a decent product after buying some similar products recently and being very disappointed in the quality. I'm using it to keep my Galaxy S8 from overheating when being used with Gear VR. Without a fan, I was only able to use it for 15-20 minutes before it would start throttling the performance due to overheating. The fan works really well and phone never even get warm now and the suction cups work well on the back of the S8, especially if you wet them slightly before using. It's very light, quiet, well made, and very effective.

Quality and sturdiness of the product is really good. I have been using many of their products for about 2 years now and I’m always impressed on how well they work. I love the RGBT lights and the fact that you can use these fans wirelessly. The biggest issue with this gaming fan is that it’s just really not that strong. Even on the highest settings it’s a lot weaker than these low quality box fans that I got from China (thru eBay). Those fans were $6 each and have more power but need to be connected to a power source at all times so I gotta still give Flydigi’s cooling fan the edge.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this so that when I’m doing mods on my Android phone and am rebooting it a lot, it doesn’t overheat. Works great for that job, no notes.The fan is bigger than you’d think but it isn’t as bad as it sounds. You can hold it with a couple fingers like a phone ring and it actually gives a nice stable grip and keeps your hand fresh and cool.The lights are a simple color changing affair but it does it really well. It intentionally seems to avoid color combinations that would be gross or brown and ugly.Also it produces a neat effect on mirror-surface phones like my Note10+! When you look into the gap between the fan and the phone, it looks like you’re seeing inside of the phone and it’s filled with rainbow circuitry. Added a video.

The cooling works great but two issues. The battery life on the lowest setting only lasts about 40 min and the suction cups unstick after 5 min and I have a Samsung with glass backing (no oil). It runs great (when it does) but fairly useless if you have to restick the suction cups every 5 min.

This thing is nice. I have been hunting for a way to keep my old iphoneX cool while gaming due to the rather extreme thermal throttling and this fan works perfectly to keep the phone cool in both portrait and landscape modes.This is the second fan cooler type of solution that I have tried and this one is the best of the two by far in build/packaging quality and cooling performance. It is also about 1/3 the size of the last one I tried which is a big deal.

I have a Surface Go and I would play low end games that do not require internet if you are on the go (Ultra Street Fighter 4, Zombie Army Trilogy, etc.). My Surface would get extremely hot and I was concerned that I would eventually reach the point where the Surface would just shut down to avoid burning up the insides. I ran across this little fan while shopping and figured it wouldn't hurt to try it. This fan works like a CHAMP!!! I put the fan on high and played for over one hour nonstop. And the back of the Surface felt as cool as when I first turned it on. The fan can be heard while on high but I couldn't hear it when I put in earbuds. I would highly recommend getting this fan. The only minor drawback is that the suction cups will not stay on if they are dry. I had to dab a tiny speck of water on each suction cup to get a solid grip on the Surface, but this is a small price to pay for the job it does.

I use it on my Oculus and it really helps keep it cool longer. Easy to operate and is nice and small with great colors. My only complaint is that the suction cups don't hold on that long and I'm not sure how to fix that. Otherwise, a good product. Shipped really fast so thanks for that.
